💡 Fun Fact Friday 💡

Sharks can lose at least one tooth per week and go through as many as 30,000 teeth in their lifetime. Unlike sharks, we only get one set of permanent teeth — which makes protecting them especially important!

Permanent molars usually erupt around age 6 and again around 12, while premolars come in between 10–12. These new teeth have deep grooves that are hard to clean and very vulnerable to cavities.
