We will decorate a tree in memory of all the child loss families we have worked with over the years. The Daisy Dash Virtual walk, run or ride - 7th Annual! is on Friday May 29, 2020 to Sunday May 31, 2020. It includes the following events: Daisy Dash Kids Virtual Walk, Ride or Run!, Daisy Dash 5k Adults Virtual Walk, Ride or Run!, and Daisy Dash 5k Adults Virtual Walk, Ride or Run!.

During this challenging time of isolation and limited support for PMAD ( Postpartum) clients and families experiencing infant and pregnancy loss, several of our providers are able to offer telecounseling within 24 hours of a call or referral. We know how critical support is during this time and while the method of counseling has changed or desire to support women and families has not.

Our providers that are able to assist in this area include; Kathleen Massmann (infant and pregnancy loss as well as palliative support care for families who have received a difficult pregnancy diagnosis), Eric Johnson (PMAD clients), Brandy Brown (PMAD and loss clients), Danielle Hjelm (PMAD). Our group members safety is our number one priority. We want to be able to give you a safe space to share your loss and process your feelings. In light of the COVID-19 virus, we feel it necessary to cancel this months group to ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy. We will send out an update next month and hope to see you all soon. In the meantime, please let us know if there is any way we can support you.

Healing Moments Counseling is partnering with Rivers of Hope this holiday season to bring some extra cheer to families struggling with domestic violence and abuse. Starting on Monday November 18th, 2019, we will be accepting donations to bring to Rivers of Hope before Christmas. Please consider leaving one of these items in the giant wrapped gift box upstairs! Anyone who donates an item will receive an essential oil roller as our gift to you. Please give any gift cards or cash donations to your therapist and will make sure it is delivered!

Rivers of Hope Wish List
-School supplies – notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks
-Personal care items (travel sized)
-Socks and underwear for children and youth
-$25 gas cards and $25 grocery store gift cards as part of our “emergency shelter packets” – we give these out when people need a 1-night hotel stay as they are trying to find shelter
-Phone cards for minutes on a disposable phone – also used as part of our “emergency shelter packets”-

Throughout the month of October, we remember lives lost through Pregnancy and Infant Loss. Today is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.

We invite you to join us in lighting a candle TONIGHT at 7pm in your time zone (and let it burn for 1 hr) for the int’l . This wave of light will move across the globe for a full 24 hrs in honor of every precious baby and gone too soon.

Let us know who you’re missing. We’d love to and see their beautiful faces! 💜
