I started the repair business to give a break to those who could not afford the market priced repairs. Sad to say but after 20+ years we need to raise the repair rates. The continuous creep of costs requires this move. Repair rates are now $190 per repair. Welcome to 2024, I hope that you have a good year. Bruce

obviously I don't visit the page very often but the lab is still open and repairs are being done. The Over the Counter hearing aid will soon be available. Consumers will find these very helpful but should use common sense. If you suddenly loose hearing, have fallen, have bleeding from the ear or suspect that something is wrong, go see a doctor. More hearing aids are being built to be disposable, making repairs difficult at best. Not all for sure but it is increasing. The Fall has begun and is beautiful in the Midwest. With the extreme humidity of the summer your ears will sweat more. Be sure to wipe your aids more often and keep them dry. If they should quit, leave them in the open air with the battery door open. The purpose is to dry the moisture that could be causing the problem.
