Personalize Your Tribute: Pick up a luminary bag at Area Churches, Dollar Fresh Market, Fareway, Anamosa Veterinary Clinic, Monticello Veterinary Clinic, Karde’s C-Store, Whiffle Tree Mercantile, Family Veterinary Service or the Above & Beyond office at 417 E 1st St.

Decorate your bag with a message or design and return it to the Above & Beyond office. We’ll prepare it with a candle for display outside the Monticello Library.

Remember to be careful on the ice and snow this winter. ❄️🐧

These tips can keep you safe and prevent a slip or fall:
1. Go slow! Leave early and take your time.
2. Wear safe footwear. Avoid heels and shoes without treads.
3. Walk like a penguin. Point your toes out, relax your knees, bend slightly and walk flat-footed with short steps.
4. Use your arms for balance.
