With civil rights at risk around the country, it is more important than ever that we come together to strategize state-level solutions. Vermont has long been at the forefront of innovative policies to advance civil rights, and we invite you to join us that tradition.

We will be hosting our 2025 Civil Rights Summit this fall in Randolph, and we’re eager for you to be there. We’ll bring together nonprofits, community leaders, movement organizers, and policymakers to identify openings for collaborative approaches to the defense of civil rights.

More information about panelists and a registration page for the summit will come soon. In the meantime, please mark your calendars for November 14, 15, and 16 at Vermont State University in Randolph. If you have any questions or you’d like to propose a panel, serve as a volunteer, or have a table at the event, please message us.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Disability is the only minority group anyone can become a member of at any time. In fact, if you’re lucky enough to grow old, you will experience some degree of disability.

So think ahead: when it’s your turn, will you want your autonomy, decision-making, and dignity protected?

Let’s make sure disability rights matter to everyone — now.
