Today’s Mystical Musing…

Empathy is the ability to feel, vulnerability is the ability to express.

When we are vulnerable, we let other people in. We allow them to see the parts of us that we’ve tried to hide beneath the surface.

If you don’t dare to show yourself and what you truly feel, it is almost impossible for others to understand you and show empathy toward you.

The Knight of Cups exemplifies what is brave and strong, as well as what is tender and kind. Today, be willing to show both.

Someone opening up to you might make it easier for you to open up to them — and likewise you can help someone else to release their feelings by revealing yours in kind.

From there, a bond of trust and empathy can then start to flourish and grow.

Crack, my love, crack wide open.

It is human nature to shut down when our hearts have been hurt, our stability threatened, our trust betrayed, when we are required to adopt some measure of change...

We freeze, we close, we often remain rooted in fear and these patterns inhibit our potential.

It is what we learn in the bloody, painful moments, with tears and snot running down our faces as we scream courageously into the void - that ultimately fosters and speeds up our true growth.

When you are fighting the urge to shut off and shut down, spirit encourages you to remember the image of this beautiful piece of Mookaite Jasper...

And crack, crack wide open, allowing the seed to break forth, dwelling in the knowledge that something profound and beautiful is truly on its way.

What is your heart worth to you?

The answer is (or should be) ‘everything’…. our hearts are worth the world... and only you can determine your worth and decide who is deserving of your time, effort and love.

There is someone out there looking for exactly what you’ve got; someone who will never undercut your value. They understand that some things can’t be bartered. They know what they want and that its worth whatever the cost, which they accept willingly.

So if you’re feeling discounted or considering settling, don’t. Look for small synchronicities and keep your heart open.

You just may stumble across “someone like you”.

Today’s Mystical Musing:

When I looked at this pairing my first thought was “Hold your horses” and on a very real level that is exactly what these cards suggest.

We as humans are anxious creatures and many of us thrive on instant gratification..

We want what we want and we want it now.

But we must also realize that when Universe asks us to pull on the reigns, to slow it down a bit, to wait a little longer than we’d like.

This process is about trusting in divine timing rather than racing to the finish line.

Today, enjoy the moments before you, and allow them to “be”... There is a reason and season for everything.

Relax and breathe.
