The Gardening Club here at The Gary Residence planted some seeds and are tending to them daily. They plants take in the rays in our sunroom, just look at how well they are doing! The tall ones are sunflowers, bachelor buttons are the mid-sized ones, and the smallest are herbs.

We had the wonderfully talented folks from the No Strings Marionette Company visit us. Barbara works magic bringing her exquisite works of art to life. Each individual resident had the opportunity to interact with the puppets. It was incredible to see the interplay that occurred between the residents and Barbara's artistry. It was heart-warming.

The Gary Residence celebrated Norma’s 100th Birthday! We are honored she share her special day with all of us. She received almost 80 greeting cards and too many flowers to count! There was hardly enough counter space in her suite to display all of the well wishes.

We would like to recognize this month's staff member who is Making a Difference here at The Gary Residence... Heather!
Heather is an RSA who has been with us for about a year and a half. Her eager personality and ever-present demeaner is revered by the residents and staff alike. Heather shared that she loves how our community is so tight knit and really feels like home. She not only attends to folks whenever there is a need, but Heather will join any signing or dancing activity with the residents, too. Heather's presence and enthusiasm brings a smile to everyone. We appreciate Heather’s dedication and passion to providing the best care possible. Thank you for being you, Heather!
