Take a look at the vitality of our farm grown dried Calendula! When herbs are picked at the right moment for their constituents and dried in the proper environment, the results are obvious!! All the Calendula used in our products is grown on the farm!

Tour the herb garden!! Well, some of the herb garden. So much of what we use in our products is grown on the farm!! This gives control to how and when herbs are harvested and effects the efficacy of the products.

The holy basil/tulsi is one of my favorite herbs to chop, as the smell is just divine!!! By cutting your herbs up, the surface area increases, which raises the extraction rate. And in this case, the olfactory delight!!

So here is how I am dealing with our summer of rain. It’s kind of ridiculous, but picking soaking wet herbs is worse.

Our seasonal Rose Elixir is ready!! OMG it’s so delicious!! Come by Capital City Farmers' Market Montpelier Vermont for a sample Saturday. It’s made with fresh local roses and local raw honey. It’s made for sipping!!

The Calendula is doing awesome!! The more you pick it, the more it produces. Each flower is so unique! All Calendula used in our products is grown on the farm. It’s such a versatile herb, it can be used in tea, tincture, vinegar or oil.

Pulled the first garlic today! Considering our crazy weather this summer, it’s looking decent! First ingredient done for our Fire Cider Oxymel!

At least the Calendula doesn’t mind the rain! So many of the herbs are struggling due to the 16” of rain in the last week. This is one that’s still thriving! Come on sun!! All the Calendula used in our products is grown on the farm.

Please come out to support your local farmers Saturday. Capital City Farmers' Market Montpelier Vermont will be on the College of Fine Arts green from 9-1. Many of us have experienced crop loss during our catastrophic weather. Hope to see you there!!

Here is an elderflower cordial in the making! Look for it to be ready during August. A delicious summer addition to mocktails and cocktails! It has a cooling delightful floral flavor.

You have to get out there and harvest when the plants are ready. Yesterday was elder flower day, even in the 93 degree heat. All the elder used in our products is always local!
