Rose Memorial Parlour & Cremation Center

Rose Memorial Parlour & Cremation Center Former funeral home & cemetery business. CLOSED Rose Memorial Parlour & Cremation Center is located Downtown Montrose, CO. Matthew R. It is simply what we do best.

Boyle is an experienced funeral home owner who was approached with the extraordinary opportunity to reopen the historic location at 505 S. 2nd St. He fell in love with the idea, as well as the property. After taking possession, the vacant building began undergoing a restoration process. Our ultimate goal was to preserve as many of the original features that made the building special so many years

and generations ago. Furthermore, incorporating modern environmentally responsible amenities and technological features of the present, were just as important. After working around the clock for several months, we have finally achieved a completion to the first of several property improvement phases. Rose Memorial Parlour & Cremation Center is open and is eager to began providing the Western Slope with all aspects of funeral and burial services. Rose Memorial Parlour's main objective, first and foremost, is to provide the most affordable death care in Montrose--period. To prove that, we guarantee to beat or at the very least, match any of our competitors prices, respectively. The Boyles know they have joined a community with other highly respected death care professionals and realize you have a choice. We are firm believers that a family should always choose the funeral home that best accommodates their specific needs. Should Rose Memorial Parlour be fortunate enough to get the opportunity to serve your family, we say ":thank you". We are confident you will be highly satisfied with our service. What truly makes us unique, is our enthusiasm and knowledge of non-traditional funeral and burial options. Specifically, we specialize in providing "green" funeral and burial services. Many folks simply do not require the elaborate services and merchandise most often referred to as "traditional" in regards to their life's end. "Green" funeral and burial options are offered to maximize personalization and minimize the footprint our death leaves behind on the planet. Let us put together "green" service options for you or simply answer any questions you may have specifically. Don't forget, we also offer several options when it comes to preplanning/prepaying for yours or your loved ones final wishes. Both paid and unpaid options exist and can truly grant you the peace of mind you deserve. In addition to being the owners of Rose Memorial Parlour & Cremation Center, we also now operate Valley Lawn Cemetery. 2016 will bring new landscaping, water features, "cremains" scattering garden and an exclusive "green" burial section are all in the works. Please feel free to stop in and meet us anytime. There is always a hot cup of coffee or a cold bottle of water for anyone. We sure are eager to start helping you get through the most difficult times. Have a blessed day. Sincerely,

It's a very good day for "morality and ethics". Thank you for your support, Montrose. This lawsuit will not benefit us specifically, but the care of the victim's families, has always taken precedence over us personally, and that is something we remain passionate about, even though we aren't currently in business. In the near future, a similar yet very separate, lawsuit will be filed on our behalf. It is our hope to one day be serving families once again. For the victim's families, we hope that you receive the restitution we wholeheartedly believe, we all are owed, as a result of these life-altering atrocities. God bless all of you.

Dr. Canfield, you are a sad, sad excuse for a professional. To continue your charade, as if you care about people's lives being saved on roadways, is about the funniest thing we've read in the MDP this year so far, congratulations! But thinking you have any respect from the general public of this community is absurd. Your infatuation, collusion and "friendship" with Hess, are no secret anymore. Your cronies at the county level may look the other way for you, but when you see them whisper, make no mistake, Sir, it is about your crimes. The heartless "behind the scenes" facilitation and involvement in these horrific crimes against humanity will catch up to you. Your lies you told to the media about me and my business have already been proven to be just that, to the people it matters the most. All of those years issuing cremation permits for bodies you knew had no intention of ever being cremated, remember those? Don't forget, I am pretty sure they have prison jumpsuits with a little extra room upstairs. MONTROSE--YOU MUST DEMAND THIS MAN'S RESIGNATION. STOP PRETENDING HE IS RESPECTABLE. HE IS A CLOWN, A THEIF and the worst QUACK doctor of them ALL.

What a wonderful family and beautiful funeral mass we had last week for Mr. Romero. We can't thank Nancy and family enough for entrusting us with the final care of their loved one. We all got to say "goodbye" .

In response to the difficult news pouring in today, I believe it's important that we pause for a moment, while setting anger aside and simply say a prayer for those who have been victimized by these evil, heartless and undoubtedly mentally ill individuals. These acts of human mutilation and the deceitful practices by which they were able to gain possession of the bodies in the first place, is perhaps the most important part of this story.

For those residents that've experienced a death in Montrose outside of hospice, what happens, is the Coroner's dispatched. Coroner, Dr. Thomas Canfield, decides a funeral home to engage to assist the county in removing the deceased from the place of death. Despite having one of the largest staffs in the State, at eleven employees, Dr. Canfield deems it appropriate to invest tax payer funds to pay Megan Hess to "assist with transport". Dr. Canfield knows that when Hess comes out to transport the deceased, he's placing a predatory monster in the family's home and giving Hess first priority to hustle her way into getting the family as a client. Nearly 100% of the time, this's how it occurs. Counties that have multiple funeral homes, try to avoid conflict of interest, and either subcontract these services to a third party transport company or handle it themselves. With eleven employees for roughly 90 deaths/year the Montrose Coroners Office handles, there's more than enough coverage. The only other way it's handled, is with funeral homes on a rotating schedule. However, that's only lawful, if ALL funeral homes are on rotation. Otherwise, it violates a statute stating the Coroner is acting unlawfully if he/she directs business to a certain provider for personal or professional gain. Leaving certain funeral homes out of the rotation, indicates the Coroner is directing business to funeral homes in rotation.

Rose Memorial Parlour was told by Canfield, we'd be added to rotation, until I happened to question Canfield's ethics. I presented him with cremains Megan Hess gave to a family that were fake. The real cremains, I located in a box sealed up and labeled with the individual's name. Sad thing about it, was that I found the actual cremains in 2016 abandoned in the basement. Hess gave the family these fake "cremains" in 2003! Canfield became visibly nervous, he said "How am I supposed to know if those are real? You're the cremation people." "Why don't you just get rid of those" "Let's not make a big deal out of this." From that point on, we've been excluded from assisting the coroner's office with body removals. He knew I wasn't a "team player" who'd look the other way as him and Hess got rich off of the unethical sale of body parts.

That was only the first of several instances that Canfield went out of his way to protect Hess. Despite all of the complaints Hess has had filed on her, Canfield still places her in homes of Montrose residents. Has she been in your home because he placed her there? If so--I WANT TO KNOW, SO THAT THE AUTHORITIES CAN BE NOTIFIED THAT MONTROSE FAMILIES ARE NOT BEING GIVEN THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN PROVIDER! Make no mistake, the only way bodies get to Hess, is through Canfield. He's went out of his way to keep Hess busy. He got spared in this article today, but collusion and corruption's live and well in this county. Evil's being facilitated by a man elected to protect the best interest of the deceased. Instead, he's chosen to profit off of the dismemberment of them. That's what's really going on here. No statement from Dr. Canfield? His office writes Hess checks for hundreds of dollars every month, just check the public records. Canfield is dirty and must be stopped. A vote for Canfield as Coroner, is a vote for approval at what Hess is doing. Hopefully they took him with to Disneyland after removing all of those gold teeth.

Humbly yours,

RMP Management/Staff

As we approach the holiday season, please remember how much it means to those who do not have family, when an invitation is extended to them to join your family for festivities. I was just told a very heartwarming story about a widow's first year without her husband. There are still some incredible human beings amongst us--phew! I was beginning to get nervous. God bless you, Montrose!
