Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Dr. Bertram, the newest member of the Trailhead Clinics team! 🩺✨ With over 20 years of experience across private practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, and hospitalist care, Dr. Bertram brings a wealth of knowledge—and heart—to our community. His approach is rooted in preventative medicine and empowering patients to make informed, healthy lifestyle choices, minimizing medications and avoiding unnecessary interventions whenever possible.

Dr. Bertram is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas after completing undergrad at the University of Kentucky. He also brings over 15 years of experience in Aesthetics to his work. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find him enjoying life in Grand Junction with his wife—fishing, skiing, golfing, or traveling. 🎣⛷️✈️

Meet Ashley Aguirre, who’s walking 100 miles from April 26-27 to raise awareness and funds for the Life’s Worth Living Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to preventing su***de and providing support for those affected.

After losing her cousin to su***de, Ashley joined a similar walk last year and was deeply moved by the experience. Now, she’s back and walking again to make a difference.

Introducing Mindy Miller, M.D.

Dr. Miller grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. She received a BA in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her family practice residency in Austin, TX. She moved to Montrose with her husband Eric Weig in 1997 and opened a family practice clinic. She loves Crossfit, road cycling, swimming, photography, and hiking. She has volunteered as a USA Swimming Official and at a local free clinic, the Medical Mission. She has served on the Montrose Recreation Foundation board, emphasizes preventive medicine, and encourages her patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
