As a Certified Medical Intuitive, Crystal Reiki Master/Teacher, and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist there is a major difference between when I prescribe a Crystal Rx to a client and when a customer chooses a stone from the shelf using the Crystal Rolodex.
Client vs. Customer
• A client has entered into a professional healing relationship with me. I’ve conducted an energetic intake, often performed a frequency scan or consultation, and issued a Crystal Prescription tailored to their current physical, emotional, and energetic state.
• A customer, on the other hand, is browsing or exploring on their own. They may use my Crystal Rolodex for general meanings or follow personal intuition, but they are not under my care. Their selections are not based on a diagnostic process.
1. Professional Clinical Work vs. Hobbyist Curiosity
• When I prescribe a Crystal Prescription, I’m doing so through years of formal training, diagnostic intuition, and energetic medicine practice. These prescriptions are specific, intentional, and rooted in clinical awareness, not intuitive guesswork.
• When a customer chooses a stone from the Crystal Rolodex, they’re engaging in a self-guided hobbyist approach. This isn’t wrong, it can be fun and meaningful, but it’s not a replacement for professional insight or a customized treatment plan.
2. Root Cause vs. Surface Symptoms
• I don’t prescribe crystals for surface symptoms. I work to identify the root misfire in the field, the core frequency that needs realignment. That’s what a Crystal Prescription is for.
• Most information in any Crystal Rolodex or self-selections focus on how someone feels right now: anxious, tired, lonely, etc. While those stones might offer some momentary comfort, they’re not guaranteed to address what’s actually driving the pattern beneath the surface.
3. Safety and Contraindications
• I factor in contraindications, nervous system sensitivity, trauma layering, and timeline instability when issuing a Crystal Prescription. Some stones, no matter how beautiful or trendy, can cause more harm than good when used at the wrong time.
• Customers browsing the shop aren’t always aware of how stones interact, or how a “feel-good” crystal might trigger overwhelm, bypass, or overstimulation if the body isn’t ready.
4. Energetic Digestion
• A true Crystal Prescription is designed for slow, targeted energetic digestion, just like a clinical protocol. I provide instructions for use, placement, timing, and dose.
• Choosing stones off the shelf without guidance is more like energetic snacking. Sometimes it satisfies, but it may not absorb or integrate fully without proper alignment or direction.
5. Scope and Responsibility
• I work within the scope of metaphysical medicine. My prescriptions carry a frequency signature, practitioner-client agreement, and energetic responsibility. That’s why I don’t issue prescriptions lightly or casually.
• The Crystal Rolodex is for education and empowerment, but it does not come with the same protections, integrity, or support as a formal client session. There is a crystal clear line between receiving healing and collecting crystals.
