We’re honored to welcome Ashley, a trauma-informed therapist trained in Brainspotting and EMDR, to Soak Wellness Spa.
Research continues to show that trauma lives not just in the mind—but in the body and nervous system. Modalities like Brainspotting and EMDR help the brain process trauma, while practices like floating create the safety and regulation needed for deeper healing.
At Soak, we intentionally blend evidence-based trauma therapy with somatic and sensory healing—including our float tanks, breathwork, and calming spa environment—to support clients with PTSD, anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm.
Ashley’s work fits beautifully with our mission and alongside any therapy you are already doing!
✨ Healing the whole person—mind, body, and nervous system.
Openings this Friday! Message us or call for details!
About Ashley:
Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has been in the world of counseling for almost 12 years now. The more I work with clients and hear their stories, and the more I learn about the brain & nervous system, the more I’ve seen the need for a technique that goes deeper than all the wonderful talk therapy techniques alone may allow. I was originally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and appreciated the depth of brain-body work, but yet there was something missing. “Brainspotting” has been that missing piece - this brain-based therapy was “discovered” through EMDR and helps focus the work even more to allow for more specific processing and relief of thoughts, memories, beliefs, or body sensations that have gotten “stuck” in the body. Let’s explore how this process can help you experience relief in some of those “sticky” areas that don’t seem to resolve no matter how many times you bring awareness to it, talk through it, and apply those coping skills.
In my free time I love being outside, exploring the mountains with my dog, and traveling.
