Many of you shared that summer wasn't the right season to begin your teacher training journey—and we listened.

We’re excited to announce that our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training has been rescheduled to January–March 2026 in beautiful Ouray, Colorado.

This shift gives us all more space to align with the slower pace of winter, when reflection, study, and transformation feel most natural.

Thank you for your honesty, your trust, and your unwavering connection to this community. We can’t wait to walk this path with you—when the timing is truly right.

WHAT: Children’s Yoga Class from 12 - 1pm + Family Yoga Class from 1:30 - 2:30pm *
WHERE: The Yoga House, 207 East Main St
WHO: You, your kiddos, and incredible kid’s yoga instructor Crystal Winter!
* Children ages 5-12 are welcome to join Children’s Yoga for $15/ child. Adults and children ages 5-12 are welcome to join Family Yoga for $10/ person.

Children’s yoga with Crystal is a special experience for children to connect to their bodies and minds in a fun, interactive way. Each class strengthens and builds lifelong skills for success physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Children will learn about and practice traits such as courage, strength, perseverance, focus, trust and an “I can” attitude to improve their self-confidence.

Crystal has been certified in and taught children’s yoga since 2012 and has witnessed many benefits in her young yogis which include improved self-confidence, deeper focus, improved strength, self-calming strategies, collaboration with peers, increased flexibility, and a sense of peace.

Join us for an all levels mandala flow to welcome the new year with Taylor on Thursday Jan 2 at 5:45pm! We will start class with a meditation to tune into what we want to invite into our lives in 2025. After warming up, we will flow through a a fun mandala sequence in which we move in circular patterns on our mats. Mandala flows require our attention to the present and allow for exploration of new movement patterns- getting us out of our heads and into our bodies. As we wind down we will tune back into our intentions for 2025 and close class with a palo santo-infused savasana.

Yoga philosophy teaches that nothing is permanent and change is inevitable, and the seasons we experience on this planet are a beautiful example of this.

The seasons can affect our bodies and minds in many ways, and yoga practice can be adapted to align with the cyclical shifts of nature.

As the earth continues to rotate on its axis embarking on the journey it takes around the sun each year, we experience change.

The vibrant blossoms and sweet aromas of spring, the abundant warmth and light of summer, the bountiful harvest of autumn, and the introspective stillness of winter. Aligning our practice with these cyclical shifts in nature’s rhythm, we can embrace the essence of transformation, just as the seasons unfold and change.

Join Kate for a four part series to welcome each new season as she leads you through a thematic 90 min experience on your mat connecting your breath to the challenging yet graceful and soulful movements of your body, a true meditation in motion.

Join us for a Full Moon Yoga class 🌝🌚

Class is this Saturday, December 14th, at 8:45 AM with Taylor F. at the Yoga House - 207 E. Main St. here in Montrose!

Class will begin with a brief explanation of the astrological significance of the month’s full moon, followed by a meditation to tune into how you have been feeling the last month.

You will then move through a moon-themed flow! This vinyasa flow practice has SO many opportunities to open through the heart and stretch into the hips.

This class will give you the tools to connect with yourself and let go of anything NOT serving you.

All levels are welcome!
