✔️ Deliver school-based prevention education
✔️ Provide client, family & community education
✔️ Lead classroom presentations and workshops
✔️ Build partnerships with school staff & community organizations
✔️ Maintain accurate records and implement prevention strategies
🟣 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Valid driver’s license
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, OR related field

✔️ Ability to meet PA Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs requirements

This role focuses on providing high‑quality substance use counseling, assessments, and recovery support — all within a caring, community‑focused environment.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field
✔ Credentialing such as CADC, CAAC, CASAC, PCB, or similar (preferred)
✔ Experience in addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and recovery programs
✔ Familiarity with EMR systems, Motivational Interviewing, DBT techniques, and harm‑reduction approaches, including MAT

The Drug & Alcohol Counselor is a key member of Trehab’s Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Team, responsible for providing counseling, assessments, treatment planning, and recovery support services to individuals seeking substance use treatment.

This role delivers client centered care, facilitates group and individual sessions, coordinates with outside service providers, and ensures compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. The Counselor plays a vital role in supporting clients through all stages of recovery.
