Meet Dr. Michele Lacy, a board-certified pediatric dentist with advanced training from Harvard University and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

With nearly a decade of experience serving families on the Western Slope, Dr. Lacy specializes in pediatric dental care, including conscious oral sedation, general anesthesia, and emergency care. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, an accomplished researcher, and a contributing author to one of the world’s leading handbooks on pediatric global health.

Originally from Fortaleza, Brazil, Dr. Lacy is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. She and her husband Colin are raising their two sons, Liam and Noah, here on the Western Slope, where they enjoy skiing, cheering for the Broncos, and exploring the outdoors with their beagle, Bagel.

Dr. Lacy is passionate about helping children feel safe and cared for at the dentist, and she is proud to bring her expertise and compassion to the PDS team.

Dr. Sanderford received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado, completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon, and pursued his Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Meet Dr. Maks Gold, a board-certified general surgeon with expertise across the full spectrum of surgical care, from minimally invasive and robotic procedures to trauma, colorectal, breast, and endoscopic surgery.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Gold trained at the Universities of Kentucky and Louisville before completing his general surgery residency at the University of Utah. He now brings his skill and dedication to Montrose as part of the Colorado West General Surgery team, with a focus on expanding access to high-quality, multidisciplinary surgical care.

Meet Dr. Wiesner, a board-certified general surgeon offering expert, compassionate care right here in Montrose.

A Montrose native, Dr. Wiesner trained at the University of Wisconsin and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Utah. He returned home in 2019 to join Montrose Surgical Associates, bringing with him a broad range of surgical expertise including robotic, laparoscopic, and endocrine surgery.

Dr. Wiesner values the personal connections that come with practicing in a community setting. He’s known for his ability to create meaningful relationships with patients while delivering high-level, efficient care.
