Sometimes kids don’t have the words for what they’re feeling.
And sometimes… talking about it just isn’t enough.

Brainspotting is a different approach that helps process emotions without needing to say everything out loud.

Longer days, warmer weather, and… cue the sneezing. If your kiddo has itchy eyes, runny nose, or that constant “is it a cold or allergies?” question—spring allergies might be the culprit.

A few ways to help:
🌼 Wash hands & faces after being outside
👕 Change clothes after outdoor play
🚿 Shower before bed to rinse off pollen
🏠 Keep windows closed on high pollen days

And if symptoms are sticking around, we’re here to help find relief so your child can enjoy spring—not just sniffle through it. 💙

💙 April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month 💙

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. This month is a reminder that protecting children is a shared responsibility—families, caregivers, and communities all play a role.

Strong, connected families are one of the most important ways to prevent abuse and neglect. Small moments—listening, showing up, and offering support—can make a big difference in a child’s life.

At Pediatric Associates, we’re here not only to care for children’s health, but to support families and help create safe, healthy environments where kids can thrive.

If you ever have concerns about a child’s safety or well-being, don’t hesitate to reach out for help.

Together, we can build a stronger, safer community for all children. 💙

👩‍⚕️✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧

Before becoming a pediatrician, Dr. Cameron spent five years styling hair for American Girl dolls — a job that required patience, creativity, and attention to detail. Turns out, those skills translate pretty well into pediatrics. 😊

Today, with over four years as a provider and almost two years at Pediatric Associates, she loves watching kids grow and helping parents build confidence along the way.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find Dr. Cameron staying active with soccer, CrossFit, hiking, or snowboarding.

A few quick favorites:
🥜 Snack: Power Up Mega Omega Trail Mix
📚 Favorite subject in school: Reading
🧸 Favorite childhood toys: Dolls (especially American Girl and MyTwinn)

We’re so glad Dr. Cameron is part of the Pediatric Associates team, helping families navigate each stage of childhood with care and encouragement.

✈️ Traveling Soon? Protect Your Family from Measles.

Measles is one of the most contagious diseases in the world—and cases are rising again in areas where vaccination rates have dropped. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, travel can increase the risk of exposure, especially during busy spring break and summer travel seasons.

The good news: measles is preventable with the MMR vaccine.

Before traveling, make sure your child is up to date:
• Babies 6–11 months may need an early MMR dose before international travel
• Children 12 months and older should have their recommended MMR doses

If your child hasn’t received both doses—or you’re unsure of their vaccination status—now is the time to check in.
