Honored to be featured in today’s Montrose Daily Press sharing why I started Montrose Direct Primary Care and what this clinic is all about. After years in traditional medicine, I wanted to build a practice that puts time, relationships, and real access back at the center of care.

At Montrose Direct Primary Care, patients get longer visits, same or next day access when possible, direct communication with me, and a focus on actually improving health not just writing prescriptions and rushing to the next patient.

The clinic is located at 16 S Cascade Ave in downtown Montrose and officially opens February 2. We’re also hosting an open house this Saturday January 31 from 2 to 4 pm. Stop by, see the space, ask questions, and meet me in person.

I shared this video because it highlights something we see every day at Telebloom.

Healthcare works better when medical providers have time, patients have access, and care isn’t driven by insurance rules. That’s why models like Direct Primary Care are growing so quickly — they remove the middleman and allow care to be more personal, proactive, and effective.

One important point: patients still use their insurance for hospital care, imaging, specialists, and emergencies. This approach simply removes insurance from routine care so primary care can function the way it should.

A quick personal update for those who’ve followed my work through TeleBloom.

One of the biggest problems in healthcare right now is time. Most patients wait weeks to be seen, then get 10–15 minutes face-to-face. That’s not enough — especially for weight loss, hormones, or chronic health issues.

That frustration is what led me to build TeleBloom the way I did — longer visits, direct access, and care that actually sticks.
