In pediatric occupational therapy, functional mobility means more than just walking - it’s about helping kids move through their world with confidence. Whether it’s crawling to a toy, climbing at recess, walking to lunch with friends or grabbing a snack like Tony, mobility builds independence, participation and joy. ❤️
Tony may still be figuring out how to strut his stuff, but with practice, play and the right supports (hello core strength and motor planning!), he is making Turkey-sized progress ✨
Every step counts - because when kids move better, they play better, learn better and live better!

And just like that, the 2025 annual Colorado OT conference is over. Last weekend was filled with lots of networking, learning new things, teaching/presenting, making new friends and enjoying the beauty that Granby has to offer. ❤️
If your profession has a state association, make sure to be a member and show support. Can’t wait for next year’s conference ❤️
