The truth is, self-care doesn’t “just happen.” You’ve got to plan for it the same way you plan your work schedule, family commitments, or grocery shopping.
Here are a couple of simple ways to make sure your self-care doesn’t slip through the cracks:
✅ Schedule your bodywork 𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒 you’re in pain. Don’t wait until your body is screaming at you.
✅ Book a few sessions in advance. Put them on your calendar and treat them like non-negotiable work meetings (because honestly, your well-being is your most important work).
✅ Set reminders for movement and mini-breaks. Even a quick stretch, shoulder roll, or walk around the block helps keep stress and tension from building up between appointments.
Your body is carrying you through everything else. It deserves a spot at the top of the list!
