We are grateful to celebrate Jenny, one of our favorite furry friends! At 14 years young, she’s proof that age is just a number when you've got great care and lots of love 🐾 ❤️

Jenny visits us three times a week for her PEMF for Paws sessions, to help her stay active, keep her steady on her paws, and stay full of spirit. Her Mom, Lisa, shared how much PEMF therapy has made a difference in providing Jenny comfort.

Cheers to more wags, walks, and wonderful years ahead! 🐶🎂

Meet Rosie, our sweet 13.5-year-old Pom-Shih Tzu Patient! After just two PEMF Therapy sessions with Dr. Michelle Furman, her human shared that “her limp is so much better!” 🐾💜

PEMF Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment designed to support mobility and overall wellness.

We're thrilled to see Rosie responding so well to treatment, and we can't wait to watch her get back to her favorite walks, happy tail wags, and joyful moments. 🐶

Our osteoporosis patient success story highlights what’s possible through expert program design at our clinic and the care delivered by our clinicians.

After just 8 months, her DEXA scan revealed remarkable improvements:
• Lumbar spine T-score: 📉 -2.5 ➝ -2.0
• Femoral neck T-score: 📉 -2.5 ➝ -2.1

The progress represents a meaningful shift from osteoporosis into the osteopenic range. Her recovery reached a remarkable milestone: her physician shared she had never witnessed progress like this within a year and confirmed that medication is no longer necessary. 🙌

We’re proud of the measurable outcomes this program continues to deliver and grateful for the clinical leadership of Dr. Kate Fink and the Montville Team, whose expertise elevates care at NJCPT. Most of all, we’re honored to walk alongside our patients as they reclaim strength, confidence, and lasting change.

Naomi is a dedicated ballet student at the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet. From the Nutcracker to A Midsummer Night’s Dream, she’s graced the stage at Lincoln Center and recently earned recognition in The New York Times for her performance.

Her strength, precision, and resilience start behind the scenes. 💪🩰 Naomi follows a customized program by Dr. Alexa to strengthen her core, knees, and ankles, and support her balance and foot mechanics, all critical for preventing injury and supporting longevity in such a demanding art form.

Thanks to the focused work Naomi puts into her physical therapy with our expert Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Alexa, she is heading overseas this summer to train with two of the world’s most prestigious companies: the Paris Opera Ballet and the Royal Danish Ballet. We're so proud to support Naomi’s journey, and be part of the team keeping her ready for center stage 🤍

NJCPT at Wayne Racquet Club 🎾

TJ, Mady, Nicole, and Tobi spent the day engaging with both familiar and new faces in the Wayne community.

We reconnected with former patients to support their ongoing wellness journeys, while welcoming new individuals to experience the benefits of expert Physical and Occupational Therapy which promote recovery, improve movement, and enhance long-term function. We also connected with a medical assistant from a sports medicine practice in Oradell, laying the foundation for a meaningful collaboration to better serve active individuals in our region.

It is an honor to be out in the community, educating others, building relationships, and highlighting the expertise and outcomes that define NJCPT.

Thank you to Wayne Racquet Club for hosting us and to everyone who stopped by.

Our Occupational Therapy team hit the road—literally.

Jacqueline, Rebecca, Avery, Brianna, and Dellicia led a hands-on community event focused on helping individuals feel safer and more confident behind the wheel.

Using their own vehicles, attendees learned how to adjust seating and mirrors, explore safety features, and understand how small changes can enhance comfort, mobility, and independence.

At The New Jersey Centers of Physical Therapy, we believe effective therapy extends beyond the clinic. Events like this empower our community with tools and strategies that support long-term function and a better quality of life.

Balance isn’t just strength — it’s strategy, and the right strategy starts with the right physical therapy team.

At The New Jersey Centers of Physical Therapy, our expert clinicians assess the three systems your body relies on to stay balanced:
• Vision — to orient you to your surroundings
• Vestibular system — your inner ear’s balance center
• Proprioception — your body’s awareness of position and movement

When any of these systems aren’t functioning properly, your fall risk increases — and that’s where expert care makes all the difference.

We create a personalized treatment plan to:
✔ Restore balance and coordination
✔ Strengthen stability and movement confidence
✔ Reduce future fall risk through focused, evidence-based therapy

If you’ve already experienced a fall, we help you recover safely — rebuilding strength, control, and the strategies needed to get back up and move forward.

Expert care. Proven strategy. The right physical therapy — at NJCPT.

A big thank-you to Colleen, Kayla, Rebecca, and Matt for making our Senior Outreach Event a success! 🙌

We had the pleasure of connecting with the Disc 55 seniors group in Pequannock, where we discussed how Physical and Occupational Therapy can support healthy aging, mobility, balance, and promote independence. We also introduced our full spectrum of care options, including in-clinic treatment and homecare services, all tailored to the unique needs of our patients.

It’s a privilege to share our knowledge with our community, and even more rewarding to help them feel empowered in their wellness journey. We look forward to seeing many of these wonderful individuals again as patients! 💪🤍

Lymphedema occurs when the lymphatic system is impaired, often due to surgery, cancer treatment, or trauma. Over time, it can become painful, restrict mobility, and impact quality of life, but it can be managed with the right care and support.

Dr. Melanie is working with a patient to manage her chronic lymphedema using a combination of PEMF therapy and vibration plate training. After navigating swelling and discomfort, she's finally experiencing noticeable progress in both drainage and mobility.

The Benefits:
✅ PEMF therapy stimulates lymphatic flow and circulation at a cellular level. When paired with Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), it enhances the body’s ability to move stagnant fluid and reduce edema.
✅ Vibration plate therapy complements this by improving circulation and encouraging gentle muscle activation, helping lymph flow more efficiently without putting stress on the body.

Together, these therapies are helping to reduce swelling, ease discomfort, and restore functional movement in a way that feels sustainable and supportive.
