Meet Ye Jee, our Program Director and Founder of Vine House Recovery!
As an adoptee and single mother of four, Ye Jee has long carried a deep passion for advocating for, and walking alongside, mothers in need. This is a drive that has shaped her life's work. Prior to opening The Vine House in 2022, Ye Jee created and facilitated a single mother's program, previously named Bloom, through Alpha Center. This was an educational and social support program designed for mothers in need, which has since grown into a larger program, now including fathers through mentorship and education.
Her desire upon creating The Vine House was to create a family-like environment that cultivated love, support and, of course, recovery. Despite not being an addict herself, Ye Jee saw a need within the community and filled it. She believes deeply that ones' past mistakes do not define who they are. It has been her desire to provide an affordable home where women could learn to advocate for themselves and support each other through the everyday struggles of motherhood. It is the hope of Ye Jee that The Vine House helps build brighter healthier futures for both women and their children.
