I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Tulsa Center for Child Psychology in 2017 with the Northeastern Oklahoma Psychology Internship Program. Prior to obtaining my Ph.D., I received my master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Counseling Psychology. I specialize in testing and assessment and have experience in evaluating and treating a variety of disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), PANS/PANDAS, behavioral problems, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression. I provide psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. I offer appointments for individual, family, and at times, group therapy. I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral paradigm but also implement aspects of Social Thinking, Interpersonal, and Relational Cultural Theory into my practice. I am Parent-Child Interaction Therapy certified and love improving the parent-child relationship while also increasing behavioral compliance through pro-social play and consistency. I firmly believe that everyone could use some therapeutic intervention at some point in their life and these skills should be applied in every area of our lives. For that reason, I often ask that my clients practice our skills in between sessions. I often compare therapeutic skills to academic or athletic skills: you will not be able to effectively use your academic or athletic skills during the test or game, if you do not practice them first. Similarly, it is difficult to use therapeutic skills when we need them if we do not practice them when we are calm and levelheaded. I give transparency and honesty to my clients, and I expect it in return because I believe the only way to have a productive relationship is through authenticity. I am passionate about providing thorough and effective assistance to those who need mental health services. I look forward to serving you and meeting your assessment and therapeutic needs.
