A little update about the coverage of monoclonal antibodies for Covid-19.

Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Links, and a few more are covering at 100%.

The state is offering the medicine itself to the uninsured, so out of pocket for the procedure is $325.

We are waiting to hear from the state about under insured patients! We will update you as soon as know. Thank you for allowing us to serve Oklahoman’s during this time.

COVID CASES ARE INCREASING DAILY 😷

The current Monoclonal Antibody (Bebtelovimab) has been authorized and shown to be very effective against the COVID-19 virus. “The results of the study show that despite the presence of numerous mutations that affect antibody binding to the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the spike protein, bebtelovimab binds to all known variants and potently neutralizes them. This includes Omicron, the Delta variant, the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and many others.”

We use Bebtelovimab in our clinic and based off of patient reports and data it is EXTREMELY effective. Most patients that have been treated experienced relief within 24 to 48 hours 😱

Don’t wait! Get treated!

The STEALTH variant is on the rise!

Coronavirus levels are reaching an all time high in the UK, with around 4.2 million people infected over the last week. With the rapid transmission of the variant we are expected to see a rapid increase in the US soon, with New York being the first state to see a small increase over the last few days.

What can you do to prepare?

If you are immunocompromised in any way, let’s get you treated with Evusheld. Evusheld is a medication used for PRE-EXPOSURE prophylaxis to prevent Covid-19.

If you are not immunocompromised, but want to get ahead of the virus come see us for a Myer’s Vitamin infusion. This particular infusion will give you the vitamins you need to help boost your immune system.

We weren’t given enough information or time to prepare before, but now we do!

Let’s get you taken care of before this variant try’s to take over!

Call (405)535-1405 with any questions!

With all the new EUA monoclonal antibody talk, let's now forget about Sotrovimab 🙂

Sotrovimab is authorized for the treatment of mild-to-moderate coronavirus disease 2019 in adults and pediatric patients (12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg) with positive results of direct SARS-CoV-2 viral testing, and who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death.

Who is NOT authorized to use it?
- who are hospitalized due to COVID-19, OR
- who require oxygen therapy due to COVID-19, OR
- who require an increase in baseline oxygen flow rate due to COVID-19

If you or someone you know has tested positive, let's talk about which monocolonal antibody would be of greater benefit to you.

Covid cases are rising again, and it will be here quickly. The Covid Treatment Infusion Center has monoclonals to treat our Covid positive patients.
But, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the immunocompromised individuals (cancer, dialysis, receiving biologics, heart failure, liver failure, etc).

After two years in this pandemic, we all know that chronically ill and immunocompromised people are at higher risk of contracting and suffering severe illness from COVID-19. Vaccinations can be our best weapon against the virus that causes COVID, but people on immune suppressants, especially transplant recipients, are less likely to develop antibodies from the vaccine. Recently, a monoclonal antibody combination therapy has been authorized for emergency use in the US. Evusheld is a muscular injection therapy given every six months that helps people with limited immune systems fight the virus. “For those who don’t respond well to vaccines, Evusheld shots put COVID-fighting proteins directly into their bodies.”

If you have a loved one that is immune compromised and you’re worried about getting Covid, they need to get this treatment.
Feel free to reach out to me with questions.

HAPPY FRIDAY ✨

Let's talk about POST covid and long term effects after Covid recovery.

Although a majority of individuals recover from covid within a few days to a week, there have been ongoing symptoms that just won't go away. These lingering symptoms can last for days, weeks or even months. Most of these symptoms can be alleviated with a vitamin infusion, such as, MYER'S cocktail but other symptoms may need to be monitored closely by a specialized doctor.

Common symptoms:
- Fatigue
- sleep problems
- cough
- mood changes
- chest or stomach pain

The CDC has put out a great article about post covid. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/long-term-effects/index.html

Let's chat!! Have you or someone you known experienced post-covid complications? If so, what information was given to you to help alleviate those symptoms? My answer is in the comments! 🤗

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

We have ANOTHER variant to make you aware of. Stealth. Stealth is a sub variant of Omicron and cases are now rising rapidly in the UK. Germany alone has made a high daily record on new cases tallying in at 250,000 new cases a day. With the rise of COVID cases in Germany, France, Italy, etc the US stastically will see an increase in cases within 4-6 weeks. That is what historically has taken place in the past with other variants. Are y'all ready to combat this next variant? What are you doing to prepare?

Here is a great article that provides more information!

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/15/is-omicron-subvariant-bapoint2-to-blame-for-rising-covid-cases.html

Covid cases are rising in Europe with an increasing number attributed to a "stealth" subvariant of the omicron strain.

Did you know, there MAY be a new variant in town 😱

DELTACRON

DELTACRON is a hybrid strain of the variant Delta and Omicron. Cases have been reported in Denmark, France and the Netherlands. Symptoms are very similar to Omicron with a few mirroring Delta. It is reported that as of now numbers are low, but with how fast the older variants circulated we wanted to make you aware.

Symptoms of DELTACRON:
- headache
- loss of smell
-persistent cough
-sore throat

If you start to experience any of there symptoms please get tested, especially if you work or are living around those that are at greater risk of catching the virus.

We do have monoclonal antibodies available to you to combat covid before it leads to hospitalization. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to call (405)535-1405

Let’s talk COVID 😷

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS CoV-2 coronavirus. Those who become infected with this virus can experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover with the help of a monoclonal antibody infusion.

Do you have covid? 👇🏽

Commons side effects can be:
-fever
-chills
-cough
-shob
-headache
-sore throat
-loss of taste and smell

The virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. These particles range from larger droplets to smaller particles.

What do I do if I test covid positive?

Ask your doctor for a referral for a monoclonal antibody infusion then call (405)535-1405 within the first ten days of symptom onset and get scheduled for treatment.

What is a monoclonal antibody?

A monoclonal antibody is an artificial antibody made to attach to the spike protein of the SARS CoV-2 virus to kill it and prevent it from replicating. Doing this will help alleviate your symptoms within 24-48 hours and helps prevent the development of pneumonia which is usually the cause of hospitalization.

Don’t suffer for longer than you have to! Call (405)535-1405 to schedule your appointment or to ask questions.

Stay healthy ♥️

Having a little fun at our infusion center before we open 🥳

If you are covid positive or know someone that is call (405)535-1405 to get scheduled for a monoclonal antibody infusion.

Monoclonal antibodies help with covid by attaching to the spike protein of the virus stopping it from replicating, which in turn alleviates your symptoms and stops your progression to hospitalization!
