Helping Maren Hear

Maren is doing well. She had another surgery in July to further repair her left eardrum. They also placed a titanium prosthetic for the incus and malleus. She'll have the same thing done to the right ear later this year. Maren’s hearing aids continue to be a great help to her; we recently passed the year mark since she got them. School is under way, and today she got her violin for orchestra! She spent some time just getting to know it. So yes, her hand is in the wrong place. 😉 But her smile every time you ask her about her violin is everything. ❤️❤️

Maren had her 6-month checkup for her hearing aids today! 🦻🏻❤️ Can't believe it's been that long already. They have really been a game changer for her. (Here she was listening for our number at the restaurant. 😊) She has another eardrum surgery later this month, so we're feeling a bit nervous about that. Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported us. -LY

I'm floating the idea of letting the girls make and sell diamond art. They love it so much, and we've been amazed at how Maren can focus on getting one done. But we're running out of places to display their work, and running out of people to whom they can gift them. 😊 It's a good problem to have. I was thinking we could let people choose their piece, then calculate a price by the cost of the kit + the time it takes Maren (and/or her sister) to complete it. Framing would be extra. Average price for a kit is around $25, which varies according to the size and whether or not it's on sale. (The piece they're working on here, for example, was half off at Hobby Lobby.) I'll put some links to diamond art kits in the comments and y'all let me know if this is something you'd be interested in. 💎-LY

Marble Maze fidgets. All of these are felt with polyester thread. They are machine washable. Air dry. (Dryer will shrink them.)

Baby doll blankets. Currently they measure approximately 24” square. Great for a 12-14” doll. If you would like a larger one, let me know what size and if you have a color preference.
All are 100% polyester, machine wash/dry, low temp.
