My next FAA Part 107 Test Prep Class starts next Monday night. Enrollment is still open. This class is an in depth dive into all you need to know to pass your FAA Part 107 Test and now more. OSU-OKC Class 001, first ever FAA Part 107 Drone Certification. Very proud to be the instructor for this first class. This class had four days of instruction on passing theFAA Part 107 test blended with basic flying. The class included Flight labs, hands on tasking whether flying or preflighting reinforcing what's been learned in the classroom. More classes to come.

American Drones is just another average Oklahoma drone shop. As Oklahoma drone shops go any way. American Drones was first formed back 2013. Originally operated from a bedroom office in a small home. In the beginning American Drones custom built drones to meet the operators needs. In fact 4 multi-rotor aircraft units were granted 333 exemptions and COA’s. In fact these exemptions were some of the earliest granted under commercial license. So time goes by and the next thing you know a couple of drone repairs turns into stream that never runs dry. Biggest of thanks to our loyal customers.
So this year American Drones opened a retail location. We still build custom drones. Tell us what you want to do with that drone and we’ll build you the best option or steer you in the right direction. Repair work continues to come in. Jake Macky is now head of all repairs at American Drones. Jake takes every job on like it’s a personal challenge to make the aircraft perfect... again.

Kevin Stoneking is 28 year retired Oklahoma City Firefighter. Retired at the rank of Major. Perfect credentials to become American Drones liaison with Emergency Services around the state of Oklahoma. Kevin is a 107 Certified pilot and is also an instructor for American Drones Part 107 Prep course.
And then there’s me. Darren Hensley My story is simple... I love drones. Ok, maybe not that simple. After the tornado destroyed my hometown of Moore, Oklahoma in 2013 I saw where I thought drones could make the biggest difference; emergency services. From there my love and interest grew and expanded.
