I'm a physician trained and board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). I've been in practice in Moore and South Oklahoma City since 2007. In that time I've had the pleasure of delivering thousands of babies in our community. My wife and I are now raising our three boys in Norman, having lived in Moore for 8 years. Moore Medical Center is where I fell in love with the community. What a

kind, loving and hospitable place it was! Everyone greeted each other and knew them on a first name basis. I never felt my patients received anything but exemplary care at Moore Medical Center. We had a Labor and Delivery, Inpatient Medical Surgical, and Outpatient Surgical as well. Please feel free to fondly post about Moore Medical Center here anytime. When May 20, 2013 arrived, Moore was changed forever. Moore Medical Center was destroyed, and my practice, Moore Care For Women moved to Norman, Oklahoma. I am anxiously looking forward to returning to Moore Medical Center 2.0 in 2016! I've been looking for a way to communicate with my patients in a more convenient manner. Good morning,

I know most of you have received a letter by now notifying you that my last day at SSM Health is tomorrow.  I would like to think all of the people at SSM for their hospitality for the past 15 months.

A new opportunity presented itself to me last fall, which allowed me to be closer to home and to have more time with my family, which is needed. After prayer and deliberation for a few months, I decided to leave SSM for this position. It will be at a clinic on the east side of Norman. My first week seeing patients will likely be late May. I’ll post more details as soon as I can.

Amber will be remaining with SSM Health and will have a clinic in both Moore and MWC.

As many of you know, the last four months have been tumultuous to say the least. Thank you so much for being patient throughout all of this.

I’ve shared with many of you that Dr. Appiah and I began to pray about the possibility of a job change this summer. That change came abruptly on July 10, 2024 when we were informed that Norman Regional was closing our clinic. We know that this is God working for good in our lives and have tried to embrace it as such.

Twenty-one years ago I walked thru the doors of SSM St. Anthony to begin an OBGYN residency. After four wonderful years there, I never thought I would return.
Thank you to SSM for welcoming me back.

For Dr. Appiah, and myself, our first day in the clinic will be January 6, 2025. Amber Duncan, will start on February 17, 2025. At this point in time, we do not have privileges to deliver babies. I promise to let everybody know when they can call to transfer their obstetric care if they desire.  Please share this post as you see fit, so others may receive the same information in case they are not following our page.

Here are the details for the office. You will also be getting a letter from Norman Regional with the same information. We would ask that you would bring your records with you from Norman when you come for your first appointment.
