Most runners hit a “wall” not because their muscles give up, but because their respiratory system triggers a “steal reflex.”

When your breathing muscles fatigue, your body pulls oxygen-rich blood away from your legs to keep your diaphragm going.

The result?

Heavy legs and a skyrocketing RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion).

This is where Isocapnic Hyperpnea training—often called Better Without Breath (BWB)—changes the game.

Part 2 is Here!

The Soleus isn’t the SOLE protector of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament also known as the ACL. It is a major one though. 👀 Isometric strength training allows for improved rate of force development (aka RFD), faster than traditional training methods.

With improved RFD, there is better balance and mobility, nearly instantly. These benefits are what allows for better body control. This is something very important to the cause of joint protection.

A faster contraction rate in this scenario allows the Soleus to act as a break system to the tibia, a bone the ACL attaches to. The Soleus at a heighten contraction rate, acts effectively as a brake system to the tibia moving forward. It eccentrically (lengthen) controls the tibia from over extending.

The ISOPHIT horizontal calf raise is one of the protective exercises one can do to ensure better protection of the knee. Is it a guarantee nothing bad will happen to the knee? No. Overtraining, lack of sleep, and acts of God can still occur and contribute to an injury. It’s more than good insurance but not 100% perfect either.

It’s Thursday.

We decided to make Thursday an NIL education day. Today is a short featuring the animated likeness of the newest TEAM ELITE member,

It created quite the buzz on stories that we decided to make it a reel. A quick reminder of what a student should have to get the attention of a business.

1️⃣ A Proule Pic - Tour be amazed how many do not have a picture of themselves on their profile pic. Not only does it take a business’ eye away, it could potentially take a college recruiter’s eye away as well.

2️⃣ Engagement - are you posting? Are others commenting, sharing, liking, bookmarking on your post? That’s the sauce for a company looking to sponsor. If people are paying attention and interacting with your posts, they’ll pay attention to company’s brand if you represent it.

3️⃣ a “Clean” Page - negative themed, profanity laced (including music selection), inconsistent posting will detour a company. They don’t want that behavior affiliated with their brand. When you receive a deal, you now represent them.
