Our Member of the Month isn’t just chosen for physical results, but for resilience, consistency, and the energy they bring to our fit fam.

And this month, we’re beyond excited to shine the spotlight on Alisha! 🌟

Alisha’s story is one of strength, joy, and commitment. She’s been part of our FBBC Moore fam since 2015 (with a short detour in Colorado). And she’s been showing up, working hard, and inspiring others for years.

Before joining, she tried everything: kickboxing, yoga, Zumba, and hours of weight training, but nothing stuck. She says, "I lived and breathed working out, and it felt monotonous! Then a friend invited me to try FBBC. I've never looked back, I often joke I should be a spokesperson for FBBC (Moore specifically). Tommy and the coaches bring an unparalleled energy to the studio you won’t find elsewhere."

Today, Alisha feels strong, fit, and empowered. She loves that in just 30 minutes, she gets a full-body workout that’s never boring. Her endurance and strength have skyrocketed, and she’s especially proud of the definition she’s starting to see in her core. But her biggest win? Sticking with it year after year! Proof of her commitment to her health and to herself.

She says, “Aside from the physical benefits, the FBBC family are a blessing for mental and emotional health. The coaches are SO encouraging, and Tommy always closes sessions with positive thoughts.”

Alisha’s advice for anyone hesitating? “You can do it! Get up, get out, and get in the studio! Then the hardest part is behind you! This is not your everyday gym or workout or Bootcamp. It's a very unique experience. And what makes it so unique are the people!

They will help and encourage you any way they can! We are a very diverse group but share a common goal!

Whether you want to lose weight, improve cardiovascular health, strengthen bones and muscles, improve flexibility, increase energy levels, or maybe just aesthetics, you CAN achieve it all plus added mental, emotional, and social benefits! If you’ve ever felt less than confident at a gym. Have no fear, there’s ZERO judgement here! (Hey, that rhymes, feel free to use that lol).

Plus, you don’t have to try to figure out how to use the equipment at the gym and wipe down before and after. The coaches do the hard work for you here and put together your workouts. Every day is different so it’s never boring. And everyone here encourages one another. Life can be tough, we shouldn’t be on ourselves or others.”
Outside of the studio, Alisha loves traveling, discovering new places, and cooking. After 27 years as a flight attendant, she’s retired. But she still brings that same adventurous spirit to life and to the studio!

At FBBC Moore, we believe every journey deserves to be celebrated. Not just for pounds and inches lost, but for the confidence, strength, and joy gained along the way.

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who embodies all of that and more…

🌟 Congratulations to our Member of the Month: Tina! 🌟

Since joining FBBC Moore in April 2023, Tina has made incredible progress. She’s down 10 lbs, 15 inches, and 5.5% body fat. But what excites her most are the non-scale victories: clothes fitting better, less back pain, and finally seeing the muscle definition she’s been working toward!

Before starting her journey, Tina felt discouraged and stuck. She wasn’t feeling very positive about herself. She was depressed and felt like the weight she had gained was out of control.

She says, "I have scoliosis and noticed just a little bit of weight drastically increases my back pain. So I had to do something."

Fast forward to today, and everything has shifted. She says, "I am feeling more comfortable in my own skin. Less back pain and overall feel stronger."

Woohoo! Let's go, Tina! 💪

Her proudest accomplishment so far? Receiving the Tenacious Virtue Award just months into her journey, and most importantly, still showing up for herself day after day.

Her best advice if you’re struggling to stay motivated?

"Just show up! Once you get going, you’ll learn tips along the way, through sessions, Facebook, and challenges. Sometimes, if I’m lacking motivation, I’ll give myself mini goals from things I’ve learned. Examples: try to hit 10,000 steps for x amount of days, less or no soda for x amount of time, walk/jog around the building after each session, integrate more protein. I feel these things also help me when I’ve hit a slump or plateau and need to switch things."

When she’s not crushing workouts, Tina’s usually surrounded by her 4 dogs and 2 cats, hanging out with her 6-year-old great nephew, hiking, doing photography, or volunteering to walk OKC shelter dogs to help them get adopted. 🐾

Outside the studio, Tina has been with a craft supplies company for 15 years as a Cards and Party Packaging Coordinator. Her team designs various party, classroom, seasonal, and craft items.

But what makes FBBC special to her isn’t just the results. It’s the heart: "I enjoy the variety of stations in every session and the positivity and motivation the coaches bring each day, but what I love most is how genuine and caring the environment feels. It’s not just about memberships or numbers — it’s about people. I’ve received thoughtful Get Well postcards for my dogs, check-in texts, and the coaches always take the time to ask how I’m doing, which has made my experience feel truly personal."

Tina is so thoughtful, kind, and hardworking. She always walks into the gym with a smile, brings positive energy in the room, and simply puts her head down to get the job done.

Whether it’s helping pick up equipment after sessions (often staying late to clean up) or cheering others on, she goes above and beyond, showing her caring nature in everything she does. An animal lover with a great sense of humor, Tina brings positivity to every workout.

We’ve loved watching her evolve, coming out of her shell, building confidence, and making incredible progress. It’s been such a joy and privilege to have a front-row seat to her journey, and we know our fit fam is better because she’s a part of it.

At FBBC Moore, every journey matters. Every win, big or small, deserves to be seen. And this month’s spotlight is a shining example of strength, courage, and heart.

Help us congratulate our new Member of the Month: Adriana!!! 🌟

Adriana’s journey has been inspiring. Since joining FBBC about a year and a half ago, she’s shed 48 lbs and dropped 40% body fat, but the numbers only tell part of the story.

Before starting with us, Adriana struggled with depression and social anxiety. She felt self-conscious and often isolated. Today? She's someone who looks forward to her workouts, has built strong friendships at the studio, and continues to discover healthier, happier ways to live.

She says, "I look forward to my gym time and my workouts. I’ve gained a great fit family who looks out for me and encourages me to keep working hard."

Even after gallbladder surgery in April, she came back strong. Proof of the resilience she’s built. Her biggest win? Feeling better mentally, emotionally, and socially.

"I have noticed an extraordinary improvement in my depression and social anxiety. Feeling good physically has yielded positive emotions," she says, and it shows. We're so happy for you, Adriana!

From crafting and spending time with her grandkids to cheering on her Pittsburgh Steelers, Adriana brings joy, grit, and heart to everything she does. As a retired law enforcement agent, she knows what it means to fight hard, and now she’s fighting for herself.

Her advice to anyone hesitating? “At FBBC, you will never feel left out or ignored. Our family here really cares. Take a chance. I did.”

Aside from being dedicated to her form and making her sessions count, she is also a very honest person who is not afraid to be vulnerable. We love seeing her post-workout selfies because she used to be uncomfortable posting those. She really has gained lots of confidence and has blossomed!

We’re so proud of you, Adriana. Thank you for showing us the power of perseverance, community, and self-love. 💪
