🌟 Congratulations to our Member of the Month: Tina! 🌟
Since joining FBBC Moore in April 2023, Tina has made incredible progress. She’s down 10 lbs, 15 inches, and 5.5% body fat. But what excites her most are the non-scale victories: clothes fitting better, less back pain, and finally seeing the muscle definition she’s been working toward!
Before starting her journey, Tina felt discouraged and stuck. She wasn’t feeling very positive about herself. She was depressed and felt like the weight she had gained was out of control. 
She says, "I have scoliosis and noticed just a little bit of weight drastically increases my back pain. So I had to do something."
Fast forward to today, and everything has shifted. She says, "I am feeling more comfortable in my own skin. Less back pain and overall feel stronger."
Woohoo! Let's go, Tina! 💪
Her proudest accomplishment so far? Receiving the Tenacious Virtue Award just months into her journey, and most importantly, still showing up for herself day after day.
Her best advice if you’re struggling to stay motivated?
"Just show up! Once you get going, you’ll learn tips along the way, through sessions, Facebook, and challenges. Sometimes, if I’m lacking motivation, I’ll give myself mini goals from things I’ve learned. Examples: try to hit 10,000 steps for x amount of days, less or no soda for x amount of time, walk/jog around the building after each session, integrate more protein. I feel these things also help me when I’ve hit a slump or plateau and need to switch things."
When she’s not crushing workouts, Tina’s usually surrounded by her 4 dogs and 2 cats, hanging out with her 6-year-old great nephew, hiking, doing photography, or volunteering to walk OKC shelter dogs to help them get adopted. 🐾
Outside the studio, Tina has been with a craft supplies company for 15 years as a Cards and Party Packaging Coordinator. Her team designs various party, classroom, seasonal, and craft items.
But what makes FBBC special to her isn’t just the results. It’s the heart: "I enjoy the variety of stations in every session and the positivity and motivation the coaches bring each day, but what I love most is how genuine and caring the environment feels. It’s not just about memberships or numbers — it’s about people. I’ve received thoughtful Get Well postcards for my dogs, check-in texts, and the coaches always take the time to ask how I’m doing, which has made my experience feel truly personal."
Tina is so thoughtful, kind, and hardworking. She always walks into the gym with a smile, brings positive energy in the room, and simply puts her head down to get the job done.
Whether it’s helping pick up equipment after sessions (often staying late to clean up) or cheering others on, she goes above and beyond, showing her caring nature in everything she does. An animal lover with a great sense of humor, Tina brings positivity to every workout.
We’ve loved watching her evolve, coming out of her shell, building confidence, and making incredible progress. It’s been such a joy and privilege to have a front-row seat to her journey, and we know our fit fam is better because she’s a part of it.
