Moorestown Integrative Wellness’s mission is to provide services, educate, and empower the community to implement integrative approaches to healthcare. We provide evidence-based interventions to adults with chronic medical conditions and caregivers experiencing burnout. We also work with adults with generalized psychological needs.
In addition to our psychotherapy services, as a non-profit organization, we provide educational outreach programs to the community focused on evidence-based aspects of health and well-being such as; nutrition, sleep, exercise, positive emotional states, social support, self-regulation, and lifelong learning. Some recent examples of our community outreach include; tabling at a Climb out of Darkness walk for Postpartum Depression, a recent talk at our local Livestrong Chapter to support people recovering from cancer, and a talk on Self-Care for Busy Moms at the local Fit-4 Mom group.
As a key player in our integrative treatment team, you will work collaboratively to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm for integrative approaches to health are necessary.
Job description:
· Provide individual psychotherapy to adults presenting with a range of psychological concerns such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders · Provide and participate in community-based preventive health education programs (typically, once a month).
· Provide consultation and treatment recommendations to the integrated care team
· Option to co-facilitate mindfulness group, burnout prevention group, and positive psychology group
Requirements:
· Must have a valid New Jersey license as a Clinical Psychologist/ LPC/LMFT or LCSW or be license eligible as a Psychology Post-doc
· Candidates with experience working in behavioral medicine are a plus
· Dedication to making a meaningful difference
· Must be able to work independently
