Purple represents excellence, elegance, and beauty – and we made sure to treat our residents to just that with our Violet Nights Banquet! We dressed our dining room from head to toe with purple drapery and flowers, while our culinary and dining staff served an excellent three-course meal inspired by all things violet!

The Moorestown Library hosted some of our residents for a beautiful pressed flower suncatcher craft! Using pressed flowers, an embroidery hoop, and transfer paper, residents created an eye-catching beauty for their windows, followed by checking out their book sale! Thank you to the Moorestown Library!

Our very own Parker's Bend Sunshiners performed a wonderful set of songs at their Spring Concert last week! We are so proud of their hard work and practice, and can't wait for the next one!

We hosted a "Taste Of The World" event last Wednesday, where staff members shared their culinary heritage. Residents enjoyed a diverse array of dishes while learning about different cultures.

Loren, the Lead Concierge, presented stew chicken wings with peas and rice from the Bahamas. Yvette, a Senior Living Consultant, offered Indian fry bread with toppings from her Unkechaug Indian tribe. Managers Matt & Katie prepared perogies, kielbasa, and arroz con leche, representing Poland and Spain. Jaida, the Lifestyle Director, made feta & parsley börek from Turkey. Taylor, the Dining Room Supervisor, showcased fresh kolunai from Lithuania. Finally, Executive Chef Geoff delighted guests with holiday struedel, smoked salmon, and pumpernickel rye bites from Germany.

We transformed our dining room into our very own Bingo hall for one of our favorite events, Bigger Better BINGO Night! Residents lined up for not just any bingo night, but a bigger AND better one – including fun prize bags provided by ComForCare, and the chance to win things like a meal ticket, a guest suite ticket, a dinner for two with our managers, and even private three-course dinners prepared by our sous chef or our executive chef! We love making our residents’ days bigger and better with events like these!

Spring has sprung! We lined our lounge with beautiful pink & purple tulips and served our residents floral and herbal teas for our first tea party of the year: Tulips & Tea! Our excellent culinary staff created some delicious savory snacks to go along with our tea selections, including flavors like cucumber dill, devilled ham, and beet & goat cheese. What a way to start the season!

We welcomed Shannon of Ennoble Care this past week to sponsor a flower class for our residents! Using beautiful spring blooms, residents created their very own bouquet alongside their neighbors!
