We hosted a "Taste Of The World" event last Wednesday, where staff members shared their culinary heritage. Residents enjoyed a diverse array of dishes while learning about different cultures.
Loren, the Lead Concierge, presented stew chicken wings with peas and rice from the Bahamas. Yvette, a Senior Living Consultant, offered Indian fry bread with toppings from her Unkechaug Indian tribe. Managers Matt & Katie prepared perogies, kielbasa, and arroz con leche, representing Poland and Spain. Jaida, the Lifestyle Director, made feta & parsley börek from Turkey. Taylor, the Dining Room Supervisor, showcased fresh kolunai from Lithuania. Finally, Executive Chef Geoff delighted guests with holiday struedel, smoked salmon, and pumpernickel rye bites from Germany.
