Looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our great team!!

Busy dermatology office located in Moorestown NJ is seeking a Full Time/Part-Time Medical Assistant.

Must be flexible and available to work 1-2 evenings/week as needed.

Job responsibilities include:
- Enter pt's Hx, medication, allergies, ROS, chief complaint & HPI in our EHR
- take photos of biopsy and wound sites as directed by provider
- set up surgical trays and obtain patient’s written consent in EMA
- Assist providers w/ biopsies and minor derm surgeries using sterile technique
- clean and stock rooms
- maintain sample closet
- clean instruments (run autoclave)
- wound dressing, suture removal, apply steri strips and unna boots
- Respond to internal messages, and document in patient's chart
- call pts and pharmacies as requested by provider

Company paid 401K plan, paid lunch, No medical or dental benefits are provided by the practice

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour

We are pleased to announce that we are back with full hours! Currently, our COVID protocol asks that:

-Everyone must wear a mask or face covering; if you do not have one we will provide one.
-Call the office when you arrive! Only a limited number of people are allowed in the waiting room, and we will call you or come out to your car and get you when we are ready for your appointment.
-You will be asked several questions and your temperature will be taken upon entry into the office.
-The chairs in the waiting room are disinfected very regularly!
-We are no longer accepting cash.

We are now offering telemedicine visits! To obtain an appointment, you will need a smartphone and an email address. The doctor will be able to communicate with you in real time with audio and visual input. Examples of conditions that may be appropriate for teledermatology include routine acne checks and evaluations of various rashes. Full skin exams cannot be done in this way. Please contact the office if you would like a teledermatology appointment and our staff will assist you. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through the current coronavirus crisis. Although we are not booking routine appointments, we have limited in-person hours for more emergent conditions only.
