I am thrilled to announce that I will be making another bucket list dream come true. Starting this fall, I will be stepping into the role of adjunct professor, teaching "Working with Survivors of Trauma and Abuse," for Rutgers University Masters School of Social Work. Who would have thought I would go from being a student and graduating from there in 1996 to becoming a professor! Let the healing journey continue for all of us in the fight of a lifetime:)

Excluding evidence of alleged sexual abuse during the Menendez brothers' trial is unjust. The judge's ruling represents a significant victory for the brothers if credible evidence exists that they were abused by their father. How can the jury deliver a fair verdict without access to information that might explain why these individuals, who were teenagers at the time, committed such a heinous act? It is also crucial for the public to comprehend the perceived level of danger when teens or children are subjected to such profound harm.

A judge has ordered Los Angeles prosecutors to explain why the Menendez brothers’ murder convictions should not be re-examined in light of new evidence supporting their claims of sexual abuse by their father.
