A lesson gratefully learned.....
I deal with a great Tree Free card company .....cards from recycled paper and they had a 'Holiday' promotion.
Cards for Christmas, cards for Hanukkah, cards for the Winter Solstice, cards for Kwanzaa and Diwali. So I thought, "yes", I want to be all encompassing, I want to show that I acknowledge all holidays.
But what does that mean?
I ordered cards without actually understanding these holidays, their traditions and meanings.
I displayed cards for Diwali in December, when the Diwali is Celebrated this year November 12th. I apologize for my ignorance, for not researching, for not understanding, that it is not just about carrying a card, but about understanding a culture.
I love what I do, and have the greatest customers who challenge me to be the best I can be.
Health Haven has always been a place of an exchange of thought and beliefs.
I am so thankful that my customers help me learn.
Thank you for gently educating me ❤️

Thoughts on 'LIKES' and REVIEWS
I recently visited two establishments and afterwards, I received, I guess what you would call robo texts about 'liking' them if I had a good experience or completing a short survey (on a scale from one to ten) of how my experience was. I think I got the same text everyday for a week.
Here is my take......when you come in to my store I know what your experience was like.
That you left being better educated, and wellserved is enough for me. That you tell your friends,.....well, that is even better. That you post something to my Facebook or Website....well, that is great for those that value those postings. But I have been in business long enough to know that you can 'buy' reviews, likes and postings.
That you, my customers, come back, value me, support me with your business is the greatest feedback.
When each of you say "Thank you for being here",.....that is a Face to Face 'like'.
And I could not ask for more.
Thank you for 'liking' me every day when you visit.

ORGANIC BLACK SEED OIL!
Mustafa and Aysun Deryal, who live in Mt Laurel and whose children attend Moorestown Friends School have a wonderful company BOTALIFE. They produce the wonderful VEGAN soaps that we carry and now we carry their ORGANIC BLACK SEED OIL!
The oil is COLD PRESSED from Black seeds ORGANICALLY GROWN in their family Farm in Turkey.
They educated me on the importance of THYMOQUIONONE - which is a potent antioxidant and bioactive compound known for its health promoting properties. Their BLACK SEED OIL contains a minimum of 1.5% of THYMOQUIONONE.
The previous brand that I carried did not state a percentage but when I called, it was less than half of the BOTALIFE product.
I have been using it myself and I have seen a dramatic reduction in my inflammation!!!
I was closed last week for vacation and decided not to take it with me as i didnt want to hassle with taking a liquid......I can honestly say that I was really sorry I didnt!.
