She is one of our occupational therapists who joined our clinic in 2023. With over 12 years of experience, three children of her own, and a career spanning four countries, she brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to every session. Passionate about helping kids thrive in their daily lives—at home, at school, and in the community—she’s dedicated to empowering children through occupational therapy. Whether it’s building motor skills, improving handwriting, encouraging play, or supporting social interaction, she loves helping each child grow with confidence and joy. 💪🧠💙

From Bottle to Straw — One Sip at a Time! 🍼➡️🧃🐻

Making the transition from bottle to straw drinking is a big milestone in your child’s feeding journey — and we’re here to make it smoother, safer, and skill-building! 💪👶

In therapy, we use tools like the Honey Bear Cup and Lip Blok to help:
✅ Learn how to suck from a straw
✅ Strengthen lips, cheeks, and jaw
✅ Improve breath control
✅ Reduce prolonged bottle use
✅ Improve self-feeding
✅ Build a foundation for clearer speech & safer swallowing

The Honey Bear cup gives just the right squeeze to teach the suck reflex, and the Lip Blok encourages proper lip placement.

Jaclyn has proudly practiced occupational and feeding  therapy at Wright Choice Therapy since 2020. She embodies the WCT mission of authenticity and connection, shown by the love and attention she gives to the families she serves.
