On behalf of us all at Homewatch Caregivers of Mooresville, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful 2026.

We hope you are all able to spend Christmas with those you love, and are surrounded by joy, laughter and love.

For those missing a loved one who has passed, we hope you can honor and remember these loved ones in a way that is meaningful to you. While joy is a common word used to describe this time of year, the void caused by the absence of a loved one can be heavy.

Be patient with yourself and give yourself grace.

It’s ok to be sad.

In our office we light a candle each day to remember and honor those no longer here.

We do this as a simple act to remember.

Personally, I miss my brother immensely at this time of year. The silly & recurring gifts (how many bars of Fruit and Nut does one human need?) The laughs, the movie quotes, seeing him engage & share stories, the non-verbal communication themes which stem from spending so much time together, sharing trifle with him from the bowl and seeing who found the money (50 pence coin) Dad hid in the Christmas pudding….I miss it all.

For those who are missing loved ones this Christmas season 🙏🏻❤️

Great News for Older Adults in Our Community!

Centralina Area Agency on Aging has launched an exciting new program called PEAS – Providing Elders Additional Sustenance!

This program offers monthly grocery or meal deliveries to eligible older adults, helping ensure they receive nutritious food while supporting independence at home. Centralina is partnering with Mom’s Meals to make this possible.
