If you ask me what my favorite class to teach is, my answer would be easy- Babywearing!
This class is soooo versatile and can benefit families at all stages!
🤰🏼Pregnant- come see what carriers you may want to register for, safety checks, & how babywearing can support you at all stages!
👶🏽Have an infant- come see how you can meet your babies needs for attachment, feed them in the carrier, and work from home all at the same time.
👦🏼Toddlerhood- let me show you how to safely get that heavy babe in a back carry so you can tackle Target after preschool pick up like a pro!
🧑🧑🧒🧒Expecting baby number 2 or 3 or 4? Babywearing is such a great way to help you meet the needs of multiple children at once, decrease your stress, and tackle tasks at home!
This week I had the honor of supporting two families during our Babywearing class- one who’s expecting their second child (hello two, 2 and under) + one with a 9 month old who’s working from home with her baby. Totally difference stages, yet both feeling supported and confident! Also, both families paid $0 out of pocket cost with their insurance benefit!
I bring about 10 carriers to class, some I recommend, some I don’t. All different styles and brands. We chat for about an hour about safety, positioning, and I demo each style and position. Then the second hour is reserved for the families to get their hands on the different carriers try them on, put their baby or my weighted doll in them, and fit check! It’s such a nice break from “regular instruction.”
