We're excited to have Dr. Maureen Marquie, also known as โ€œMo,โ€ join our team at FYZICAL Mooresville!

Maureenstrives to identify the unique needs and goals of her patients utilizing evidence-based research to improve their quality of life and optimize recovery. She is a โ€œdouble tar heelโ€ who received her Bachelors in Exercise Science with a neuroscience minor then transitioned to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining the FYZICAL team, she worked across multiple hospital and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across the Charlotte Metro area and has previous experience with outpatient orthopedics and working in a burn unit. Mo was recently a part of a team of therapists creating the first Limb Loss course for NC, has recently been published for her stroke research at UNC, and serves as an adjunct faculty member for UNCโ€™s DPT program.

She is currently working towards advanced certifications in pelvic health, dry needling, and becoming a stroke specialist with future endeavors of achieving her neuro clinical specialist degree.

Why FYZICAL? FYZICAL is unique in itsโ€™ expertise across variety of patient populations with top-notch equipment and promoting continued learning and growth of their staff to meet their patientโ€™s needs.

When not in the clinic, you can catch Mo hanging out with her two dogs, trying new restaurants, or working out at the gym.
