We had such a wonderful time celebrating National Assisted Living Week this month! A special thank you goes out to the Key Club from Mooresville High School, who joined us for a day filled with laughter, fun, and fellowship. They hosted a variety of games and brought along delicious treats for both our residents and staff to enjoy.

The joy and energy these students brought to our community made the celebration even more meaningful, and our residents loved every moment of it. We are so grateful for their kindness and the time they spent making National Assisted Living Week extra special.

We had a wonderful time celebrating National Assisted Living Week this month! One of the highlights was a special pampering day, where our residents were treated to relaxing nail care and a chance to feel truly spoiled. The smiles, laughter, and conversations shared made the day extra meaningful.

At Miller’s, we believe in celebrating our residents in ways that make them feel valued, cared for, and uplifted. This day of pampering was the perfect reminder of how important it is to take time for a little self-care.

Today we celebrate Women’s Health and Fitness Day! At Miller’s, we are dedicated to supporting the women in our community in living their best quality of life in body, mind, and spirit. Taking care of yourself can look different for everyone, whether it’s scheduling regular checkups, going for a walk, choosing a nutritious meal, or simply unwinding with a good book.

We would like to offer a big thank you to Centerwell Home Health for bringing such a fun and creative pumpkin craft for our residents! Everyone had a wonderful time making their own unique creations with a paint and baking soda combination.

We truly appreciate Centerwell’s partnership and the activities they host with our residents each month! It always brings so much joy to our community.

We always enjoy the opportunity to cater lunch at our local senior center! It’s such a joy to see everyone come together to share a delicious meal, enjoy one another’s company, and fill the room with laughter. These gatherings are more than just a lunch, they’re about building connections, creating memories, and celebrating community.

Happy National Environmental Services Week! Today, we are proud to recognize our outstanding Maintenance Assistant, Corbin. Although he has been with us for just under three months, he has already become a wonderful part of our Miller’s family.

Corbin is eager to learn, takes great pride in his work, and has done an exceptional job in such a short time. We are excited to see him continue to grow in his role and look forward to all that his future holds here at Miller’s!

Join us in congratulating Tammy Pirkey as this month's Employee of the Month! Prior to joining our team on the assisted living side, Tammy worked as a CNA for the skilled nursing team for six years.

Happy Environmental Services Week! Today we are honored to recognize our Housekeeping Supervisor, Sonya! Sonya has been with the Miller's family for seven years now, and during this time, she has become known as one of the hardest workers around.

She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our community is always welcoming, comfortable, and looking it's very best. When asked what she enjoys most about working here, she shared that it's the relationships she has built with both residents and staff. She loves listening to the residents' stories of the past, and says her co-workers are truly the best part of her day.

We are so thankful for her positivity, dedication, and for keeping our residents home clean and welcoming!

Happy Environmental Services Week! Today, we are proud to shine a spotlight on our amazing Maintenance Supervisor, Kayla! Kayla has been a part of the Miller's family for 6 years now. She started at the age of 16, and throughout her time here has stepped in to help in other departments whenever needed.

Her journey has been one of growth, service, and leadership and we are proud of all that she has accomplished! When asked what she enjoys most about working here, Kayla shared that it's the friendships she's built, with both residents and staff, and it makes coming to work everyday so rewarding.

We are truly grateful for Kayla's hard work and dedication, and for taking such great care of our community!

We wrapped up National Assisted Living Week with a special outing to Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor and Museum for lunch! This iconic and delightfully unique spot has been on our residents’ list for some time, and the visit did not disappoint.

It was the perfect way to end a week dedicated to honoring and celebrating our amazing residents. We are grateful for them every single day and love creating opportunities for special memories together.

Our Grandparents Day picnic was a wonderful success! Residents spent the day surrounded by their families, including grandchildren and even a few ‘grand-dogs,’ making the celebration extra special. With live music, plenty of games for the kids, delicious food, and endless laughter, it was truly a day filled with joy, love, and lasting memories.
