April is National Occupational Therapy Month, and we're proud to celebrate Natalie Dunaway, MOT, OTR! With nearly 16 years of dedicated service, Natalie brings compassion, expertise, and heart to everything she does. After graduating from Plainfield High School, Natalie went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Biology at Marian University and then her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Indianapolis. A fun fact about Natalie is that she is the reigning facility Wordle champion 3 years in a row!

Natalie shared that her favorite part of work has been the relationships she has built over the years with both residents and her coworkers who now feel like part of her family. Thank you, Natalie, for your years of service and the incredible impact you make every day!

We were blessed with a fun Easter parade last week put on by members of the Mooresville Senior Center. They went to several places around town delivering Easter baskets and we are thankful that we were one of their stops!

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt was a hoppin' success! Our annual Easter Egg Hunt brought smiles all around! Residents loved watching the kids dash around to find hidden eggs, and many even got to share the fun with their grandchildren and great grandchildren!

It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and a real sense of community, reminding us all why these traditions are so special. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun! We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Our Staff Development Coordinator, Juanita, recently attended the RN job fair at Ivy Tech in Lawrence, and had a great time meeting soon to be RNs and discussing job opportunities at Miller's.

Whether you are coming to us for short-term rehab or long-term care, it's important to have the right care plan in place! Upon admission we set a date and time to have an initial meeting to help our team get a better understanding of your goals, discuss your current progress, and go over potential discharge plans. We always encourage that any family or friend that assist in medical decisions attend these meetings as well.
