After 23 years of running JTEC Exhaust and Accessories, it is time to pass it on to someone with knowledge of engines and willingness to learn TIG welding. We are seperating the exhaust and kit business into seperate operationing business.

As many of you know I have had 5 back operations over the last 5 years. It has become increasing difficult for me to keep going at a pace it should be. JTEC is now the only MAJOR exhaust manufacturer operating in the US, with Slimline being purchased by DA for a process for there UAV division. overtime, I suspect DA will be making mufflers for their own engines but they are also a large customer of ours and most likely will not offer products for other engines on the market.

Over the last year we have picked up several UAV customers that are making very nice size orders along with orders directly from retail customer so the foundations for JTEC Exhaust to continue on with a new owner are in place. The sale of JTEC will include all equipment, templates, customer list, proprietary information and exclusive designs. Asking price is $65,000 for the exhaust side of the business.

While out at the shootout with everyone I turned around and saw my granddaughter Allee running towards me. To my great surprise Kevin. Sarah and Allee came to the shootout. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Kevin is here to help call for Andrew 😍😍

We have been at the Tucson Shootout for a week now. After a blitzing run of driving 2000 miles with 3 hours sleep we arrived in Tucson last Friday late afternoon.

It has been an extremely fast week but I am very proud of all the guys flying our MX2 ,Dalton Mel and our updated YAK 54.

After five long years of back pain and four major surgeries in that time with another probably soon I decided to try and take another path.

I did not want another major surgery. I had been told of a possible procedure that could reduce my back pain by 80%. It’s called a spinal stimulator.

What it is, think of a pacemaker. Instead of connecting it to your heart they connect it directly to the spinal cord. It sends electrical impulses to the spinal cord to help reduce the pain.

I did a lot of research and talked to many people that have had the procedure done. IT’S LIFE CHANGING.

The great thing about this is you can actually try it externally. As the Doctor said, it the only medical item you can try and test it before surgery.

I did the external unit last week and it reduced my pain by 80~ to 90%. I couldn’t believe it.

I was scheduled for a consultation with the doctor that would implant the unit yesterday afternoon. Luck would have it that they had a cancellation for the next day and if I wanted to could fit me in that spot.

Well happy to say I am home from having the procedure and looking forward to getting back to some sort of normal life.

If anyone of you have back or neck pain, I would highly recommend looking into this procedure and investigate for yourself.

The company that has the equipment is Boston scientific. I am sure there are others but I would google them to start.

So DHL finally delivered the gear, They left it outside. I guess they didn't have the balls to bring it in. We found it on the doorstep when we were leaving for the day.

The box was so beat up that they had to wrap it back up with all sorts of DHL tape to close it again.

Original we were basically stocking gear for our kits that we cut. We are getting lots of request for all different sizes so what we are going to do is start building inventory of all the different sizes of carbon gear wehave listed on the website:

I just wanted to let customers know that we have not been able to fill landing gear orders as DHL seems to have lost our product. We have been waiting over five weeks for them to deliver it but they do not seem to know where it is. They have provided us with several waybill numbers. One said they delivered to someplace in KY and another said it was in customs.

There is no way to actually talk to a person other than a chat online and they are useless. Every time I try they pass me off and the next person is no better.

I have now requested that the manufacturer replace the order as it has been to long.

I am hoping that I will hear some good news from our manufacturer that a replacement order is in process. With the order I have added additional gear so we should have most of what is offerend on the website in stock shortly

Sorry we have not posted for a while. I have still been dealing with major back issues and just had my 4th surgery in the last 3 or 3.5 years. With my on going back issues it limits what I can physically do so its time to see about selling the JTEC side ( exhaust ) of the business to lighten my load.

It's a great business that can be operated as a home business working out of a small shop, basement or large garage. Anyone interested should have good R/C knowledge and the ability to tig weld thin wall aluminum ( that can be taught ) and work doing metal fabrication. Currently we employee two to three people and have worldwide sales

Congrats to Santiago Perez Sequeira and Kim Quenette on a 1-2 finish in both the Unlimited IMAC class and F3S class at the Tucson IMAC this weekend. Santi was flying his Dalton 300ML and Kim flew his 3.1m RADIOWAVE MX2.
