💡 While parents and caregivers hear from our guest speaker, the amazing Davidson College Buddy Club will be spending time with our young adults—sharing activities, games, and social fun!

HIS Ministry was created to promote awareness, inclusion, accessibility, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.

HIS volunteers are dedicated to developing, facilitating and ensuring spiritual programming, fellowship opportunities, and loving support for individuals with special needs and their families.

JOIN US at this month’s event on Sunday January 11 from 5:00-6:30pm. Activities include dinner & dessert, craft, devotion, music & dancing, and fellowship with others.

SOAR Special Needs Ministry at Rocky Mount Church

Rocky Mount Church is very excited about our Special Needs Ministry called SOAR. Our vision is to transform religion into a relationship with Jesus Christ, one person at a time, by providing SUNDAY School classes, ONE-ON-ONE buddies, and seasonal ACTIVITIES to individuals with I/DD, so they and their families can build RELATIONSHIPS within the church community.

What a Beautiful Year—Thanks to You!

Because of your kindness and generosity, 2025 has been a year of incredible growth for Laura’s Village!

This year, we received our first Independent Contractor enabling us to support an adult day program—a program that brings purpose, friendship, and joy to adults with special needs each day. We also hosted our first workshop, helping participants build confidence and learn new skills while serving in our community. And together, we celebrated one full year as an official nonprofit organization—a milestone that would not have been possible without you.

Your donations help keep our Village running strong. We’re proud that 100% of contributions made through PayPal Giving go directly to operating expenses, ensuring that every dollar truly makes a difference.
