This Memorial Day, Laura’s Village pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice made possible the freedoms, opportunities, and communities we cherish today.

As we gather with family and friends, we also reflect on the importance of creating a world where every person is valued, included, and celebrated for who they are.

Laura’s Village is growing, and we are currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join our mission-driven team!

This is a remote, contract position requiring up to five hours per week and is ideal for someone with accounting experience who values organization, accuracy, and meaningful community impact.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Is familiar with nonprofit compliance requirements
• Is willing to learn new software and systems as needed

For families of students of all ages, because our loved ones face transitions from beginning kindergarten, to entering middle or high school, all the way to graduation or aging-out.

It’s never too early or too late to begin planning for their next steps.

Families have expressed interest in learning more about transition services offered through the schools, so for our Sunday, May 3rd meeting, we are partnering with the Transition Team from Iredell-Statesville Schools.

Even if you're in a different district, you might take questions or information back that will help your child.
