Dr. Carolyn Dean is a medical doctor who is a leader in the field of magnesium deficiency and supplementation. Dr. Dean is also the owner and CEO of a supplement manufacturing company. Dr. Dean graduated in 1978 from Dalhousie Medical School, Canada, as well as qualifying from The Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine (later named the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - or CCNM). After graduating, Dr. Dean served on the board of Governors of the CCNM for 6 years. Dr. Carolyn Dean is a qualified nutritionist, naturopath, herbalist and acupuncturist, and she is also a renowned author, having published numerous medical books throughout her career. Amongst the 35 publications that Dr. Dean has written or co-written, one of her most popular books is The Magnesium Miracle, which has become the definitive publication on magnesium deficiency and other related illnesses. Other titles by Dr. Carolyn Dean include Death by Modern Medicine, Hormone Balance and IBS for Dummies, along with a further 110 kindle books.
