The 2026 professional education resource guide, or the PERG has just been issued to all Massage Therapists. It’s a magazine or catalog of all the Continuing Education classes available in the state. I’m excited to see my first half page ad on the page next to Claire Marie Miller (A teacher whose classes I have loved and I who greatly admire!) Over the last two years my classes, as well as my teaching skills have been growing and evolving. I wish all my classes were a hit the first time out. Sometimes you have to learn through a bit of failure. But get up, rewrite that Power Point, rework, tweak it, and try again. I’m feeling much more relaxed and capable. Seeing those “Ah-hah!” looks in my students eyes and the excitement they feel to go back and use what they learned with their clients makes me thankful I kept at it. I can see 2026 is going to be another big year of growth and expansion! 🥳🧧☮️

I was using a weighted vest but it was too heavy for me and I stopped using it, because my back would hurt after using it. I have heard go with 10% of your body weight? I fo plan to get a lighter version soon. What had been your experience ? Do you use one?
