Mooresville Senior Citizens Center Our Community Center serves the needs of Seniors aged 55+. The Mooresville area Senior Center was incorporated July 31, 1984. The Center's Purpose:
1.

To serve area senior citizens through programs related to their needs including but not limited to food, medical and clothing resources.

2. To serve as a vital liaison to the community for the needs and problems of elderly citizens.

3. To provide our aging populace with information, assistance and referrals to local agencies and services.

4. To provide transportation to appointments and to the center for weekday hot lunches.

5. To provide a place to socialize with others of a common interest to help reduce depression associated with aging.

6. To recognize and serve senior citizens of this great generation.

Wahoo!!! Back again 🤩

It’s back! Join us Wednesday for the monthly Senior Movie at Mooresville Showtime Cinema! Thanks to our co-sponsors Martinsville - Affordable Hearing Aids, Lorie Blythe "The Real Estate Nurse", Baldwin Wealth Strategies, Lawyer Beth Sullivan-Summers. We hope you can join the crowd on Wednesday when the doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, doughnuts, and orange juice, live announcements at 10, followed by be movie.

Canned food items will be collected and donated to our friends at Churches in Mission. See you Wednesday!

We are heartbroken yet grateful to have shared in the life of our loving, kind, compassionate, and generous friend, Lena Ooley. Please see below for her arrangements.

We will be thinking about and praying for Vern and the rest of her family during this extremely difficult time.

Lena Mae (Fulk) Ooley, 91, Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2025, from a massive heart attack. Lena was born on May 23, 1934, in Patricksburg, to the late Adolfus Fulk and Violet
