My Practice I offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.

Counseling Focus My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

My Promise My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Depression and Anxiety Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Trauma and PTSD Many individuals, including Veterans, can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Relationships Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.

I earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Prior to opening my own practice, I worked as a Readjustment Counselor at the Fargo Vet Center serving Veterans and their families. I previously worked at the Fargo VA Medical Center as a primary care social worker and a case manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program through the Salvation Army. I also have experience working the area of Children and Family services.

I was raised on my family’s farm in western North Dakota. I served as an Airborne Infantryman in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division (1999-2002) and later with the North Dakota National Guard as a Combat Engineer (2002-2003) and in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Engineer and a Finance Technician (2004-2007).
