I try so hard to stay off the big “mom” pages 🙈.

I love the sense of community they bring (because let’s be honest, motherhood can feel really isolating), but it breaks my heart when I see advice that makes mamas doubt themselves or derails the progress they’ve worked so hard for.

Lately I’ve been thinking… what if there was a cozy little corner of the internet just for us? A safe space for my past, current, and future clients to connect, share honestly, and lift each other up. Because the truth is, not only do I love supporting moms, YOU all teach me SO much too. 💕

I don’t know exactly what this group would look like yet, but I’d love to dream it up with you.

If you could wave a magic wand and create your perfect mom community, what would it include? 💭 Drop your ideas below—I’m listening!

🙌🏽Feeding your baby shouldn’t be stressful — or expensive.

🎉 I’m now in-network with more insurance plans, which means you might get lactation visits at low to no cost.

‼️**Coverage isn’t guaranteed, so call your insurance and ask if they cover code S9443 (lactation services) with diagnosis code Z39.1.

💕 I’m here to support you through every stage — from those first days at home to going back to work, starting solids, navigating developmental milestones and weaning. Many families choose monthly follow-ups to feel confident and supported as their baby grows.

Getting started is simple:
1️⃣ Check your coverage (link in bio)
2️⃣ I’ll confirm your benefits
3️⃣ Book your visit — virtual or in-person

👏 Because you deserve ongoing, personalized feeding support for the months ahead!

Having children transforms your mind, body, and soul.

✨ Your mind is stretched in new ways—it’s meant to be challenged.
✨ Your body will change—because it’s meant to.
✨ Your soul will grow—deep in love and in life.

When you need rest, give yourself rest.
When you’re ready for more, start small—baby steps.
Some days, all it takes is the strength to take one step forward.

You’ll walk a million miles that way. 🤍🫶🏽

💕To the families close to my heart,

Today I received sudden news that may affect how many of you access lactation care through insurance.

For 2.5 years, I’ve partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) — a relationship that has allowed most of my clients to receive lactation visits fully covered by insurance. But starting May 16th, TLN will no longer be able to work with many insurance carriers.

Shortly after I was notified, TLN began emailing affected clients directly. If you received an email from them, please take a moment to review it closely.

I know this is unexpected — and I feel the weight of this shift with you. Nearly 90% of the families I support have been covered at 100%, and I understand how stressful and disappointing this change may be.

Here’s what I do know:
➡️ If your coverage is changing, we can still complete a fully covered visit before May 16th.
➡️ After that, many clients may no longer have 100% coverage for visits with me.
➡️ I don’t yet know what this means for my practice in the long term — but I am committed to adapting, pivoting, and doing everything I can to continue showing up for the families who need me.

Thank you for your grace as I navigate this unexpected change as a solo provider. I’m so honored to be part of your journey, and I’ll continue doing all I can to make sure you feel supported.

With care,
Laci Jones, RN IBCLC

🫶🏻12 gentle reminders in my early postpartum season.💕

[moments from the first month postpartum with babies 5 & 6]

1. Building a bond with your baby takes time, and that’s perfectly normal.
2. It’s okay to grieve the labor and delivery experience you dreamed of but didn’t have.
3. NICU moms, you are never truly alone—your feelings are valid, and support is here.
4. Nursing or pumping is a true labor of love, requiring incredible dedication.
5. The exhaustion of a 4 a.m. wake-up is unmatched—it’s okay to feel overwhelmed.
6. Take it one moment or one hour at a time; you don’t have to do it all at once.
7. Juggling toddlers and a newborn is tough—give yourself grace as you adjust.
8. Credentials or experience don’t change the fact that you’re navigating postpartum as a mom.
9. Shifting family dynamics is challenging, no matter if it’s your second baby or your sixth.
10. You don’t have to love every moment—acknowledge your feelings without guilt.
11. Support is essential - find your person or your people to lean on.
12. And yes, there’s nothing quite like sleeping on your stomach again!

You’re not alone in these feelings. Share your experiences below or reach out for support—you’ve got this, mama! 💕

🍼Picked up my Insurance-Covered breast pump at 🍼

🌟This time around I decided to go with the Spectra Synergy Gold. I chose this pump because it’s unique in that it has two motors (reel incoming asap).

‼️Does every mama need this pump upgrade? NOPE! I chose this pump as my PRIMARY based on my unique scenario; I have a history of low milk supply, I am having twins, there’s a potential I may be doing frequent pumping, I respond well to the Spectra vibration based on previous pumping experience and I have a multitude of other breast pumps.

⏩I am passionate about educations moms on how to choose a pump for their needs, use their pump, and HOW to effectively pump. Therefore, I have approx. 15-18 other breast pumps in my office that I can use.

✔️I also plan to use my Eufy S1 Wearable, Willow Go and/or my Pumpables Genie Advanced, once my milk volumes are established and I need more mobility.

⁉️Which pump did YOU choose for your insurance covered breast pump?⁉️
