Dr. Ames and Dr. Peterson believe in a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to orthodontics, and achieve dazzling results. Whether our patients come to us because they would love to have a more gorgeous smile, because they are experiencing pain, or because they are having difficulty with their bite or jaws, we strongly believe in the power of orthodontics to change lives. We have a warm and caring team of dental assistants who are extremely expert in their field. Many of them have worked with us for more than ten years. Our office often feels like a social destination in its own right, and we go out of our way to make sure that our patients have fun along the way and love coming to see us. We stay on the vanguard of available techniques and technology in all aspects of our practice. From our premium braces or our work with 3D digital imaging to our convenient online patient portal, we harness any available tools to improve our patients’ overall experience. We put technology to work to bring out your best smile.



•We are the only practice in the area to offer Incognito, a totally invisible braces system that mounts brackets on the back sides of teeth.

•We offer Invisalign.

•We have two convenient locations: 1550 30th Ave S Moorhead, MN 56560, and 605 Hwy 34 East Detroit Lakes, MN 56501

• We offer early morning appointment times to accommodate school-aged children and working adults.
