MSUM Wellness Educators

As an extension of Hendrix Clinic and Counseling Center and Minnesota State University Moorhead, Wellness Educators develop and implement activities to encourage healthy, positive lifestyles. Wellness Education is based on the philosophy that students can play a uniquely effective role, unmatched by professional educators, in encouraging their peers to consider, talk honestly about, and develop re

sponsible habits, attitudes and lifestyles regarding alcohol and health related issues. Wellness Educators are effective in helping others make healthier choices by providing information, challenging incorrect attitudes, confronting unhealthy behavior, and referring students to professional help. As an extension of Hendrix Clinic and Counseling Center, Wellness Educators reach out to the MSUM campus community and promote the health of "most" and reach out to to the "some."
