I've had anything but a simple life. I lived on my own at age fifteen, and suffered through a chaotic marriage for thirteen years. That first marriage ended in a divorce, which separated me from my children. I fell into a deep depression and turned to substances for comfort: the path to destruction. From job loss after job loss, to becoming a "weekend mom", to run-ins with the law, to living on th

e streets . . . I was battling an addiction that almost killed me. The odds seemed stacked against me until the right person stepped into my life and believed in me. Slowly, I began to change my thought processes, and with a lot a dedication and commitment, my world transformed to become a positive, healthy, human being. Recovery has given me the reputation as a leader in the recovery community, as well as the go-to person for those looking to achieve their goals and dreams. My professional work ethics and success in consulting and coaching have connected me with people looking to empower themselves. Today, I proudly claim my identity as a person in long-term recovery from alcohol and other drugs. I'm married to my best friend Lance, and my three children are back in my life, full time. I've also received the blessing as being a “bonus” mom to three, lovely, adult step-daughters. I have appeared to speak to people in full auditoriums, schools, businesses, treatment centers, churches, and more. I travel widely, leading workshops, speaking on hope in recovery, and motivational speaking. I also provide training's for recovery support services and Rule 25 Evaluations. (Insurance accepted)
