Getting Acupuncture? Here’s Your Reminder to Just Relax.

Once your session begins, the best thing you can do is… relax. Seriously. When your body is calm, your muscles and nerves are more open to healing.

Feeling nervous? That’s totally normal! Just ask questions, take some slow, deep breaths, and focus on your breathing. Inhale… exhale…

After the needles are in place, it’s your time to really let go. Notice your breath. Is it deep and steady? Try to soften any tension.

This is your healing time. Breathe. Relax. Restore.

Thinking about acupuncture but not sure what to expect? Here are some quick facts that might surprise you!

It’s not a one-and-done
For lasting results, you will likely need a few sessions.

Clean & safe
Needles are never reused. Each one is brand new and safely disposed of.

Wear loose clothing
This makes it easier for your acupuncturist to access treatment points comfortably. If you do need to take anything off, you can expect to be fully draped.

It treats more than just pain
Acupuncture can help with digestion, allergies, stress, anxiety, menstrual issues, and more.

Feel-good side effects
Better sleep, more energy, and less stress are common bonuses.

It may include other techniques
You might also experience cupping, acupressure, or massage to support your healing.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing practices in the world — and still one of the most fascinating. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it involves the gentle insertion of fine needles into specific points along energy pathways in the body, called meridians.

Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to support the body’s natural ability to heal. The goal? Restore flow, balance, and connection in the body. It can:
Stimulate the nervous system
Encourage the release of natural pain-relieving chemicals (like endorphins)
Increase blood flow and reduce inflammation
Affect the body’s energy and connective tissues in powerful ways

Whether you’re dealing with pain, stress, or simply looking to feel more balanced, acupuncture works on multiple levels — physical, emotional, and energetic.
The beauty of acupuncture lies in its ability to support the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Curious about how it might help you? Let’s connect.

Summer brings sunshine, vacations, BBQs, and a whole new rhythm to life — but with that fun often comes a few predictable imbalances. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we see certain patterns pop up year after year during this season.

Here are three areas where acupuncture and herbal medicine can really shine:

-Digestive Support
Rich meals, extra treats, and irregular eating schedules can lead to digestive discomfort. TCM focuses on supporting the stomach and spleen, helping your body process food more efficiently and restoring balance after overindulgence.

-Relief from Summer Colds & "Stomach Bugs"
Surprisingly, colds and digestive bugs are quite common in summer. Whether it’s sudden chills, fatigue, or nausea, TCM offers time-tested herbal approaches that can help clear seasonal imbalances and support quicker recovery.

-Fatigue & Dehydration from Heat
The heat — combined with outdoor activity — can leave you feeling drained. TCM addresses this by supporting your body’s vital energy (qi) and fluids, helping you feel more energized, hydrated, and resilient during the hot months.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine work with your body’s natural rhythms to keep you feeling your best — all season long. If you’ve been feeling off, your body might be telling you it’s time to rebalance.

We all love the sunshine, beach trips, and longer days, but summer can also bring a few bumps in the road — like heat stress, allergies, and low energy. The good news? Acupuncture can help you stay balanced, energized, and glowing all summer long!

Stay Cool
Struggling with the summer heat? Acupuncture can help your body regulate temperature so you don’t feel overheated — even on the hottest days. Think of it as your inner cooling system!

Summer Allergies
Sneezing, itchy eyes, or that foggy feeling? Acupuncture helps calm your immune system and ease allergy symptoms so you can actually enjoy the outdoors again.

Boost Your Energy
All the fun can be surprisingly exhausting! Acupuncture supports steady energy and reduces fatigue — so you feel more like your vibrant self (and less like a wilted sunflower).

Glow From the Inside Out
Sun, sweat, and dry air can take a toll on your skin. Acupuncture helps promote hydration and healthy circulation, keeping your skin radiant and refreshed all summer long.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool, hiking a trail, or just enjoying a slower pace, acupuncture can help you feel your best from head to toe. Stay cool, stay energized, and enjoy every moment this summer!

Did you know? In TCM, each season connects to one of the five elements — and summer is all about fire. Fire = high energy, excitement, and growth. It's the season of yang energy — active, bright, and full of life!

In TCM, summer is also linked to the heart and small intestine. When fire is balanced, we feel:
- emotionally open
- mentally strong
- physically energized

But with all the outdoor fun, travel, and busy schedules, it’s easy to burn out by fall. That’s why keeping balance is so important!

Here are 4 simple ways to stay balanced this summer:
1. Shift your sleep routine
Wake up with the sun, stay active during the day, and rest during the hottest midday hours.
2. Set your top 4 priorities
Pick the 4 things that matter most to you this summer (like swimming, reading, or family time) — and keep coming back to them.
3. Move your body — but mindfully
Enjoy active fun like hiking, swimming, or biking… but balance it with breathwork, gentle yoga, or meditation.
4. Stay hydrated!
Drink lots of water, and try some watermelon juice 🍉 — it cools you down and helps digestion too.

Acupuncture can help you stay balanced and relaxed all summer long — especially when life gets hectic.
It supports healthy circulation, regulates body temperature, and helps you feel your best through the heat.

We’re here to help you stay cool, calm, and connected this season!

Summer heat can take a toll—causing fatigue, irritability, skin flare-ups, and digestive discomfort. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, these are signs of internal heat or stagnation, and acupuncture offers powerful ways to restore balance.
During the hot months, we focus on:
Cooling the body
Moving stuck energy and blood to prevent inflammation and tension
Supporting hydration and kidney vitality—especially for those who sweat a lot or feel easily drained
Calming the mind and lifting the spirit when heat rises and causes mental restlessness

Whether you're dealing with heat rash, burnout, headaches, or just feeling off in the summer sun—acupuncture can help regulate your body’s response to seasonal stress.

Personalized point combinations are selected to:
– Clear internal heat
– Support digestion
– Nourish yin
– Calm emotions
– Prevent summer fatigue

Summer is a time of movement, creativity, and activity—but it’s also easy to overdo it. TCM helps you stay cool, centered, and in harmony with the season.
